Birthday Cake

My DH's birthday is on Xmas Day (the day we arrive). We are booked into the 1900 Park Fayre that evening and was wondering if I should arrrange a cake for the restuarant, was a bit worried as it's a buffet or should I arrange to have it delivered to our room (if they do this) the following day giving him time to enjoy it (we are staying at POR)

Any suggestions ???

You are already paying for dessert at your dinner reservation, perhaps have it another night where you will just have a counter service dinner or will be back early, then have a small family party at the resort. Hang streamers and baloons and really enjoy your cake that you will pay dearly for anyway!

Tell them at the restaurant that you are celebrating a birthday and you will most likely get a cupcake from the buffet with a candle, or better yet bring your own candle and matches!
