HI just a quick question my hubby and i will be at disney area again for his birthday woohoo :cool1:

i never thought about it last year, but this year i would love to get him a bday cake. Where can i order one at ? we will be staying at the wl lodge. Also, does anyone know where i can get one delivered to the room so i wont have to go out "by myself" ?

Subscribing to this, we are gonig for Christmas to WL and want to have a cake as well.

Do you have to have concierge to do this? We won't have concierge, just a woods room.

us to, i never thought about the concierge part of it

Call the Disney dining number... (I use 407-939-DINE as I am local - don't know if there is a 800) tell them you want to order a cake, and you are staying at the WL. They will give you the number to the bakery. You would call them directly to order - only need a few days notice. You could ask them if it could be delivered to your room via room service, etc.

hi
does anyone know if you can have a birthday cake delivered to caribbean beach resort?

We stayed at WL for my daughter's birthday last October and had a cake delivered to our room (we were not staying concierge). I called in-room dining the day before her birthday and ordered it. I was able to specify which Disney character I wanted on it as well.

awsome thank you so much!!!!

We'll be staying offsite but I'd like to book an ADR for someplace in MK for my ds's 7th birthday and get him a cake. Which rest. is the best to do this at in MK? Any thoughts?

Check the other thread on pictures for birthday cakes, and now a thread on phone numbers.

My experience was the LTT cake that was delivered to LTT was nothing special, in fact it had been previously frozen, and the icing was falling off, there was no name on the cake - I was so disappointed.

The cake that was from the 1900 Park Fair (a Grand Floridian restaurant) was perfection, it was quality. For that reason I do not reccommend a MK restaurant, but either a Boardwalk Bakery cake, or a Grand FLoridian Restaurant Bakery (can not just pick up cakes here, must have a ressie and order at least 48 hours in advance) is so worth it!! Again, check the picture thread - BIG difference!

In Dec 05 my bf gave me WDW/AKL trip for my birthday. Since my parents (who love disney just as much) were not able to go they (parents) had them deliver a delicious chocolate cake to our room. I believe it can go to any of the hotels. The cake was so yummy....we came back late from the candlelight processional and there it was and then gone!!! Yummy at midnight!

so can i order a cake and have it sent to a moderate resort CBR or POR?

I'm not really sure. I believe the only resorts you can have a cake delivered to is one that has a bakery. You might want to call Disney Dining to be sure. I'm ordering a cake for my dd's birthday in Oct but doing it at lunch at the GFCafe..not having one delivered to Boardwalk.

If you are in a Disney resort and order a cake will it most likely come from Boardwalk Bakery or GF Restaurant Bakery?? Is it only in the parks that they don't use these for onsite birthdays?
