First of all my wife's all-time favorite character is Pluto and we are returning to Disney to celebrate her "belated" 40th birthday. We had to post-pone our trip in order for my daughter who is in the USCG to get the time off.
I orginally wanted to have her birthday cake deliverd on the day that we checked in at the Fort Wilderness cabins but they won't deliver it.
Therefore I want to order a birthday cake at one of the character dinings that we have reserved.
I could do the following:
Option 1: Small cake @ the Garden Grill Cafe for lunch on the day we check in. (with Pluto serving it). Note: We are staying at Epcot for a while so any leftovers would need to be tossed.
Option 2: Large cake w/Pluto on it @ the Akerhaus dinner with the Princesses serving it. Note: We are leaving Epcot right after Akerhaus so the cake could be enjoyed for the rest of our trip.
My wife loves cakes and Pluto probably about equally. Also I can't change reservations because things are FILLED UP!
Questions:
1. Will the the characters serve the cake?
2. Which option would you choose?
