Birthday at Universal or Restaurants?

Could anyone tell me if they've ever done anything special for a birthday at Universal or any restaurants there or at IOA...

My husband is hitting a milestone while we're there, and it would be a nice touch!

We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe and Motown Cafe on DH's birthday in January. At the HRC, they made a BIG deal out of it and made DH stand up at the bar while they loudly announced to the whole restaurant that it was his 21st birthday. He got free dessert too. At Motown, they just gave the free dessert...no singing or embarassment.

We ate at Margaritaville 3 nights while on Universal property in late April. Each night we were there, someone was celebrating their Birthday. The stilt walkers really made the Birthday person the center of attention...the entire restaurant knew who's Birthday it was. All 3 of the people really looked like they were having a good time.

I celebrated my 50th at Mama Dellas (PBH) and loved it ! There were 16 of us ranging in age from 5 mos to 54 (my big brother showed up, so at least someone was older than me ! ). We all loved our meals, the ambiance, the service - the strolling musicians come to your table and play - they brought us a beautiful cake, but I think DH might have ordered it and paid extra. It was a great place to celebrate !

For my Sweet 16, we stayed one night at RPH (in addition to a couple nights off-site). When told of my birthday, Pia, the front desk woman, gave us a room with one of the BEST views of the parks, plus a basket of goodies, and a sweet card. Oh, and I got birthday hugs from some of the Ghostbusters....LOL
