I'm sorry to hear you've been having a rough time lately.

I'm sure everything will work out with your job and you'll find something you love. It's pretty easy to learn how to not work. The hard thing is to go back to work (haha...every June and August I go through this pattern...of course not the same way you are.).

I'm glad to hear you're adding an extra week. That will be fun and hopefully de-stress you a little bit!

So tons of things have happened in the last few months trip wise. I have been making lots of t shirts and am working on signs for the windows, I have my adrs, I have completly changed my trip and I have started my checklists and my touring plans for each park.
I have not been taking pics but I will get some and upload them later to show you guys all my shirts. Basically we are going to be "that" family and have matching shirts every day. In fact in some days we will be taking breaks during the heat of the day and will have different shirts for that evening.
Aaron is not thrilled about this but I love making them and it will look good in pics so he is humoring me.
Next I have my itenerary and ADRs set.
Sat. June 13th- Arrival day, MK, Kona dinner 5:30 pm, Wishes and Tour Guide Mike June vacation club meet at the Rose Garden.
Sun. June 14th- AK for RD, Yak & Yeti 12 pm, back to hotel by 3:30 and Hoop De Dee Review 5:15
Mon. June 15th- Aaron's Birthday!! MK RD, CRT 9:40, Leave by 3, Narcoossees 5:30, Wishes cruies 9:30 pm (surprise for Aaron!)
Tues. June 16th- DHS RD, 50s PTC 12:10, break by 2:30, HBD 5:10
Wed. June 17th- Chef Mickey's 7:05 am (all they had that would be done by rope drop) RD MK, Crystal Palace 11:50, Break at 4, Cape May 7:30, MK until close
Thurs. June 18th- no park am, Whispering Canyon Cafe, maybe AK after lunch just for safari fp and either nemo or fotlk (depends on whic we missed on sunday), Spirit of Aloha Luau 8 pm
Fri. June 19th- PSB at Akershus 8:05, RD Epcot FW, break by 2, Coral Reef dinner 5:30, Illuminations
Sat. June 20th- Late sleep, checkout, Tutto 12 pm, world showcase, Chefs de France 5:30 then sadly leave WDW

Next up.... Did you just say we could go for two weeks?

So in the middle of all this junk that has been happening in my life lately Aaron decided that I needed a break. He has a lot going on at work right now and just can not get off but he wanted me to have a nice trip. Well our Disney trip is less than a month away and all but he said I put too much into them and he wanted me to have some completly plan free, relaxing time. Soooo.... he surprised me. I grew up on the Gulf Coast of Texas and I love the beach but the beaqches here in Charleston are just not the same.
Well I had been trying to get a few extra days in Orlando out of him and he was like well how about a whole extra week, but not in Orlando, at the beach.
I was so excited! Isn't my hubby the greatest!
So we are going to Pensacola Beach for 4 nights (we leave the 9th now!) and have 3 glorious days with nothing to do but hang out and swim and play in the beautiful white gulf sand and clear green water! Then after Disney we are driving over to Daytona Beach on the evening of the 20th and will spend three more nights there unwinding from that trip and relaxing on the beach once again!
I am not allowed to try to make plans for this trip(shh don't tell Aaron that I have already looked up restaurants nearby). We picked out the hotels together and that is it. We are right on the beach in both cities and he wants us to do nothing at all except relax and play.
Anyway that is the bulk of what I have been doing Disney wise the last few months.
I will get to work on those pics tomorrow and will have new updates for you guys!

Oh I forgot to mention that thanks to Sarah and a few people from over on the Tour guide Mike boards I am now obsessed with buying pins on ebay. I know nothing about collecting them or sets or anything like that but I buy the ones I like and then some that Josh will be able to trade this summer. I will take and post pics of those when I take the pics of my Tshirts.

Well tonight is our relay for life and I somehow am volunteered to make like 200 peanut buter sandwiches today so I have no time for an update or to pull out the tees and take pics but I will do that tomorrow or this next week,
Why 200 sandwiches you may ask.... well my team is hosting an activity at 3:30 am and I suggested a peanut butter sandwich eating contest. The team captain wanted to do hot wings and a few of us thought that hot wings at 3:30 was a bad idea (not to mention that they would have had to sit around all night and grew bacteria).
So I better get started. Have a good weekend all!

It is so hard to not buy pins on ebay! I keep looking at them trying to find lots because I might want to trade again on our trip. I don't really know anything about them either but I do tend to go for the cast member/hidden Mickey pins if I buy on there.

Your plans all look great and can't wait to see all the shirts!

Ok so I started packing them today so I pulled everything out and took pics. Some look really wrinkled. Sorry for that, after I washed and dryed them today I got busy and they sat in a laundry basket foor a while. I will iron them before we wear them if the wrinkles do not fall out magically in the suitcase lol!
You guys have seen some of these but many are new.

So here is no real order:

Bue polos with birthday character appliques on them.

Aaron's has a mickey with gift, birthday hat on the collar and cupcake with candle on the right sleeve.

Josh's has goofy with a gift and a hat on the collar.

Mine has donald with a gift and a hat on the collar and right sleeve.

Next are some iron on applique shirts.

After I had made ours Aaron came in and wanted his a little different. Sure honey, whatever (rolling my eyes at him).

Aaron's and Josh's both look like this but Aaron's has larger ears.

I bought these for us on Disney Shopping for like $5 each.

Also bought these.

Because I had this (same pose of grumpy just different color shirt) from last year's trip.

So them I rolled up the three shirts together and put them in a ziplock bag.

Then I wrote the date and am or pm on the bag then threw them in the suitcase.

It saved so much room and will be easy to find out matching shirts on the proper days that way!

So that is down, but I still have lots of other stuff to finish before the trip.

You're getting close! I bet you're excited.

I love packing in ziplocs. It's amazing how much more you can fit in a suitcase and then everything is all organized. I found bigger ziplocs at Target and put my shorts in those. I :love:

Great Tees Michele !!!! I also made Tees for the kids !! I went to DT and used the create a Tee at the new store there !! :rolleyes1

The kids were excited when I brought them back!!! :banana:

Now they have Tees for Sept.!!!

Michelle, your shirts are great! My family (me, hubby, dd(17) & her bf(18) are going down on June 2. The kids are not too interested in shirts so I only have one Mickey. This is a grad trip for them and I'd love to make them a tee that was play on the old MasterCard commercial - you know : something $$$,
something $$$$, seeing the world - priceless. However I'm running out of time. We've been so busy with all the graduation things that I haven't had time to think. Plus I'm really not very creative. Also, we're staying at POP. Keep up the good work and have fun. :yay:

I had never packed in zip lock bags before but I love it! OMG it saved tons of room in my suitcase plus all our shirts are together!
I have the giant ones also that are big enough to put the backpck in for water rides. Those are awesome!
I love to pack also. I am actually all packed clothing wise. Now working on toiletries and then on decorations for room, still working on them though.
All that done and almost 2 weeks to go until we leave for the beach! LOL what am I going to do with my time?
Have you started packing for Hawaii? I can't wait to see pics. You going to add the trip to your tr?

Thanks Rosie, I put a lot of work in on them. That create a tee thing is awesome! I can't wait to have some made for our fall trip also! I have subscribed to your tr and can't wait till you get the pics up and going!

Thanks so much about the shirts! Congrats on the trip! It is almost time! I am so excited for ours. If you can get the tees made that will be awesome but if you can't your trip will be just a fabulous so I would not stress at all.
I am excited about Pop. The theming looks like a ton of fun.

Good luck finding something to do! Haha. It always seems that time right before a vacation goes so slowly!

I packed in ziplocs for the first time 2 years after reading about it here. I was a non-believer until I tried it! I will never pack without them again!

I have not started packing for Hawaii. I never pack until the day before. :eek:

I feel like if I pack early, I will inevitably remove something from the suitcase and it will not get back there and then I won't have it.

I have a giant list that I keep on my computer of just about everything I would ever need to pack for a trip. Next week sometime I'll print it out and cross stuff off that isn't going on this trip and start a list of clothes I want to take for each day. That will keep me busy until I leave and then I will devote pretty much the whole day before we leave to packing. It works well for me. (Of course DBF packs in 20 minutes and makes fun of me for worrying so much!)

I don't know if they'll let me post Hawaii pics on my TR. I will definitely post them somewhere, though, because so many people have been asking. I am going to post about my plans for Hawaii in my TR soon because people have asked about that also!
