So yes I am months behind. I apologize for that. I am not sure where the time has gone. I have had a lot of life interfere with my Disney planning and being on the Dis boards but I am here now and will start updates again.
My dining plans have changed quite a bit since I last posted them. Just to remind everyone that we are going for 8 days in mid June and the trip will include Aaron's 40th birthday and Josh's 10th birthday.
We are staying at Pop century and will be on the deluxe dining plan.
So based on last year's hours (which I know will be different this year so I will have to redo everything anyway! LOL!) and on the May hours that were released I came up with the basic touring and eating plan.
I will just move my days around based on EMH (I do not want to be there on those mornings and evenings because of the extra crowds) and parade (etc) schedules.
Here is the basic plan:

You know what I am sad about though is no and this year. I know June would have been too late but we were wanting to go to one when we were planning on April. I thought there was lots of interest in that. Do you know if the lower than average crowds is why they cancelled them or what?

I am just dying to try Tutto honestly. That is one that I put my foot down on because Aaron wantetd Biergarten and while I think it would be fun and it has some decent reviews, I just do not think I would enjoy the food there. He was like "Michelle we eat Italian food all the time plus you have already scheduled us at MM and Tony's," and I was like "Oh well. This place is just better than those two. I picked those because we have already tried all the other places in those parks. Besides, Olive garden does not count as eating Italian. He just rolled his eyes and said ok sweetheart.

Hi Mchele ! No I don't know for sre why they cancelled P&PP! I was bummed too as I really wanted to do it in May and Sept. So far we are still 9 for Sept!!!

Hey stranger! Yes we both took extended breaks. Sometimes life gets in the way of Dis, it doesn't seem fair but it happens.

Yes I still need to get to those pics. I will. Tomorrow maybe. I spent like 6 hours today at the dr's office and am too tired to do well anything really.

Ok so here is the long awaited update...
So the weekof Halloween I left Charleston at like 5 am. I arrived in beautiful San Diego at about noon local time. Aaron is like a mega frequent flyer with Delta (did I ever tell you guys he travels like 70% of the time?) so I was lucky enough to get my ticket for free AND get updraded to first class both legs of the trip going out there and coming back!
So anyway I arrived and Aaron met me at luggage pickup. We got that then dropped it off at the hotel. Here is Aaron carrying it in for me

Then we grabbed some quick lunch (I was starving because my body thought it was like 4 pm and I hd not had lunch yet) changed into our halloween tees that I had made and headed north.
Here is Lizzie as we are approaching Anaheim. Can you see her excitement about being in California!

As we got closer and closer I was getting SO excited!
I was getting nervous though because I was not seeing any signs and they are ALL OVER in Disneyworld.
We finally saw one tiny green highway sign that said exit for Disneyland Resort. We followed it for a while and finally things started looking familiar!

We were a few hours early for the party so we decided to explore downtown disney. That was very convienent since you have to walk through it to get to the gates!

Up next... Downtown Disney and Mickey's Trick or Treat Party!

So when I left off I was just about to walk into Downtown Disney. Now I am not eve going to lie, Downtown Disney Orlando is fun and all but after about an hour I am done with it. So I don't know if it had just been so long since I had had a dose of Disney (LOL only since June) or if it was a weird form of jet lag that made me all lethargic but I LOVED this Downtown Disney. I think it is a bit smaller than Orlando's but it was just amazing. And there was so much magic in the air!
Here are a few decorations and signs.

We saw this pretty spot so I made Aaron pose for a pic.

After a little while we decided to stop and have a drink. Aaron had a frozen cappuccino that I thought was terrible and I had iced green tea that was equally bad.

After our beverages we walked around a bit more slowly making our way towards the parks.

We saw these in the windows of the World of Disney and loved them. Some were real and some were fake.

More in the next post because I think I am reaching my limit for pics.

Now I have never been to MNSSHP so they may have these also but I LOVE the light pictures on the buildings!

So we had a fantastic time at the party. I did not take too many pics because I was too busy trick or treating and riding rides.

This guy was a lot of fun.

We were a little hungry at this point so we decided to have some Disney food.

Aaron had the ribs and fries and I had onion rings and slaw.
The slaw was great!

Here is our "loot" from all the trick or treating. This is gross but I still have a lot of this in a gigant canister in the kitchen. I should probably throw this away huh!

Awesome mini report! Those Halloween decorations are amazing. I don't know why but sometimes I think Disneyland is even more spectacular than WDW in terms of decorations, parades, etc. Ohhh I want to go back to Disneyland!

I love your matching t-shirts. Did you make them with iron-ons?

I really like all those pictures of the entrance to DL. The pumpkins shaped like the characters were awesome and I really liked the candy corn stuff. That's my favorite Halloween candy.

It looks like you guys had fun at the party and you got a ton of candy! I used to keep my Halloween candy until at least Easter, so I don't think it's gross that you still have some of it!

I just love Myrtle! It is so much fun. I had not heard that someone had bought Hard Rock Park. That is cool. It was such a waste that it closed so soon after it opened. I just hope they learned the lesson and stop charging so much to get in. If I wanted to pay Disney prices for a park I would go to Disney you know.

Thanks so much! I loved the vibes at the party. I LOVED the whole Disneyland area. I know it is tons smaller but I really want to go back there now. I told Aaron he has to take us there either next year or 2011!

Thanks Irky! It was so nice up in first class. I told Aaron that from now on he is paying for the upgrade if I can't get it for free because now that I have had a taste I am not going back.

Anyway back in reality, yes I did indeed make those Tees with iron ons. I got the design from someone on the Disigns board. I have a few more that I will be making soon to add to our vacation wardrobe so I will post those when I eventually get around to it.
I love candy corn too! Did you see the flavored ones last year. I actually prefer the traditional ones but they had different colors and like sour ones and stuff.
Anyway yes when I told Aaron I was going to throw all that candy out he was like we have had candy all this tome and you never told me?! I was like yes dear what is why we have a giant candy (well really cookie but it is for candy) jar. He told me in no uncertain terms to not toss it yet so I will wait.
