birthday at princess character dining

Friends are traveling next month to WDW. They have Princess Character Dining at Norway booked. This happens to be the same day as one of their daughter's birthdays. If they call dining and let them know it is a birthday will anything extra be done at the character dining for the daughter with the b-day?

1) They can have it listed on the ressie.
2) Beyond that, it is TOTALLY up the a CM.
3) If the CM has the energy and initiative
. . . they might decorate the table
. . . they can give her a cupcake
. . . they will probably wish her happy birthday
4) HOWEVER, none is guaranteed.
5) If they get something special, fine.
6) Just do not automatically expect it.
7) Remember, lots of kids have birthdays.
8) They cannot accomodate everyone individually.

Last month, we had breakfast at Akershus on my daughter's 8th birthday. I had noted in on the reservation and reminded the CM at the podium when we checked in. The waiter brought her a cupcake with a candle on it and a card signed by the princesses. She was thrilled.
