i am going to disney on my owen and have put down it is my birthday what sort of thing will disney do for adult

Say happy birthday and give you a birthday button - anything beyond that is purely extra magic and not guaranteed or likely.

You can ask for a birthday button at your Disney resort ( if staying onsite) or at any guest relations desk. Feel free to wear it for your whole stay if you want. You'll get lots of Happy Birthday greetings from CMs. Other than that, it's up to the individual CMs whether or not they choose to blow a little pixie dust your way.

As others have said, you will get a Birthday Button and many many Cast Members will wish you a happy birthday. It feels kind of nice to be recognized in the park. Also, I noticed on this last trip that many other Park Guests wished me a happy birthday. Were they off duty Cast Members? Who knows. But it definitely felt nice, and I came to the realization that I should be saying happy birthday to other guests too! It was nice to have a little more friendly interactions with other guests.

Aside from that, nothing is guaranteed. When I was walking around the Canadian Pavilion in EPCOT, I stopped to buy a popcorn. The Cast Member said, "Don't worry about it, it's on Mickey today".

I've gotten a silly straw at Cosmic Ray's and the Cast Member asked if I wanted all the other Cast Members to sing happy birthday.

Tusker House has given me a card that has the characters signature, and a cupcake. The characters on the card were the same ones that were meeting for breakfast.

Depending on your server, Whispering Canyon will usually make you do something embarrassing. I was told to get my cupcake I would have to get up and sing Let it Go to the whole restaurant. After I did, my server was about to hand me a cupcake and another server stepped right in front of me, grabbed it out of my servers hand, and at the whole thing in one bite. It was hilarious.

All of this stuff typically happens when you aren't seeking it out though. Going up to someone and saying, "Hey, do I get anything because it's my birthday" will more than likely not work in your favor. Not saying you were planning on doing that, just a bit of advice.

I would like to eco mike I went for my Bday lest year ( going agin this year) and I go a free dessert at dinner they said it was on mickey I also was talking to a CM out side space mountion and told her I was going to go on it next and she said wait here for a minute and came back with three re ride cards good for any thrill ride at MK ( there was a list of I think 5 rides) she said happy birthday now that was cool.

I would not expect anything other then a few happy birthdays and what ever you get just think of it as some pix dust. and remember what happens to one may not happen to you.

At the parade Tiana waved at me and said happy birthday :) I did get a free dessert at The Coral Reef. And Lots and lots of happy birthdays. What amazed me was the hb's from kids and tweens. I would inevitably forget I had it on and wonder how they knew it was my bday :) Some cms you could tell were just saying it because its what they do...oh, but others were just wonderful with it!

I haven't seen them do anything for those with a birthday. No freebies. Cast members will go out of their way to see what your button says though - whether it's a "My first trip!" or "It's my birthday!" button they always say something. I think that's pretty special.

I went to Hollywood Studios on my birthday back in 2009, when they were running the free admission on your birthday promotion. Got my birthday button on the way into the park and got a happy birthday wish by name from just about every cast member I saw, which was pretty cool. The only freebies I got were the birthday button and a special birthday ticket media (plus the free admission of course).
