Birth Certificate Question

I know to sail we either need a passport or a BC with a picture ID (for adults). My question is, does DCL return the BC to you? I'm assuming they do because I know you get your passport back. Just wondering...thanks a bunch!

For US citizens, Yes, they return the BC to you almost immediately. They only look at the BC's when you check in to the cruise to verify the information. Then you get them back and they are your responsibility. The picture ID will be needed for each time you leave and reboard the ship at each port and CC.
