Bippity Boppity Brr! My Very Meticulously Crafted Plans don't quite pan out.

You have to tell me how to do the bootleg photopass (you can PM me). I have heard of people doing it so they can add them in TR's before getting the CD's but I myself haven't gotten it figured out ever.

It sounds like a crazy first day. I have learned that planning alot of rides/attractions just doesn't work for Skip or Claire...or Michael and Paige, way back when either. Somebody always gets hungry at an inconvenient time, or something catches our attention and we stray. So now I just plan the park and TS and let everything else just kind of fall into place. With maybe a few must dos. My family would drive me crazy if I didn't. LOL!

My laptop has something called a snipping tool that can copy images from my screen and save them as a jpeg file. It's a feature of Windows 7. If you don't have Vista or 7, you may find something online you could use. I checked, and my cd should be arriving soon. According to the website it was shipped today.

Great report so far! I would have been ticked if I couldn't find the shirt, luckily I didn't make any so it didn't matter what anyone wore:thumbsup2

I do have Vista on my laptop. Where would I find that tool?

I found you! Loving the report so far. I agree, the late parade was weird this year, it used to start at like 8 or 9 i thought in the central time zone- strange with it starting at 11am for us.

sorry the vacation Gods were not kind to you. love the star wars pics!! we got a few on that speeder too- my 'hates having his picture taken' hubby even hopped on for a pic. Can't wait for the next SW ride to open next year.

how was Mama Melrose- i haven't tried it and might try that or Brown Derby next trip.

Mama Melrose was ok. I liked the tomato and Mozzerella appetizer, but overall wasn't really impressed with the menu selections.

Hi! :wave2: I'm Julia. Looks like a lovely family and a great start, can't wait to read more!! :)

Joining in your trip report!! Excited about reading more. :lovestruc
Glad you could join. I read you posts on some other trip reports, hopefully my trip report will show you what not to do.:lmao:

Thanks, hopefully I can keep you entertained.

I am on the fence as to going over Christmas next year. I hope you don't mind if I follow along!

Hopefully I can help out. There are quite a few other posting about their Christmas vacations so you can read theirs as well. We were there from the 11th - 18th, so technically it wasn't over Christmas. Much less crowded when we went. I also went the first week in January in 2007 which was great. Low crowds, and still got to enjoy the Christmas decorations.

hmmm, maybe we will give Brown Derby a try first then. i can tell you i fell in LOVE with Via Napoli- the pizza was just to die for, definitely going back there for our Italian fix anyhow. ;)

quite a few of us went in December and now are all reading along in each other's trip reports, so you can check a lot of our signatures for more December TR- we went Dec 4-11th. :santa::wizard:

I wasn't sure about Via Napoli so we didn't eat there. I'm sure in the future when the kids are older we will get to try out the nicer restaraunts. It doesn't seem worth it to take an 8 and 4 year old.

I'm here! I didn't realize you had started or I would have been here sooner! Going back to read...

Wow is Disney Photopass' standard delivery slow!

12/23 6:45 PM - Arrived at FedEx SmartPost Atlanta Georgia
12/24 2:50 AM - Departs FedEx SmartPost Atlanta Georgia
12/27 5:15 PM - Arrived FedExx SmartPost Martinsburg WV. (Seriously, 3 days to get from Georgia to WV? I could have driven down and gotten it myself in 1 day.)
12/28 1:13 AM Departs FedEx SmartPost Martinsburg WV
12/28 6:43 PM Arrived at FedEx SmartPost Allentown PA
12/29 2:45 AM Departed FedEx SmartPost Allentown PA. (Allentown is only an hour from where I live.)

6 days and it still isn't listed as out for local delivery? I could have driven a package to California and come back by now.

This isn't even the CD which didn't ship until the 27th, so I should be getting that by July 4th I think.

We really loved it. It was our last night and we checked in, hardly waited 5 minutes. i heard them turning down the guy in front of us- if you didn't have ADRs, you weren't getting in, he stood around though and gave me a look when we were taken back! lol We were seated at the main large community table which wasn't our preference, but whatever. Loved the huge ovens. We tried the arinici app (great!) and shared pepperoni pizza- we ordered the sausage one originally but they were out of sausage! The pizza was so darn good, i wish I could have eaten more, but I was so full. It was thin (i love thin), crispy, gooey cheese, perfect pepperoni. just delicious. definitely going back in October!

wow, that is jsut crazy, 3 days from GA to WV? seriously? I know it is the holiday and all, but that's just one day.

I didn't know you were in Allentown- i've been there a few times. The company i used to work for was based there- Night Vision Systems- made night vision gear for the military. I flew into that tiny airport a number of times. Great town. Also got to do a brief visit in Bethlehem too for the company Christmas party one year- which i had more time to explore there, neat little town too!

I remember when we were there in 2007 and waiting for lunch ressies at the Crystal Palace, a guy was complaining because he had been waiting an hour to get in. My only thought was, "Hey genius, this is a character dining and you think you can just walk up and get in?" Via Napoli is a new place so I wouldn't have even tried without a ressie.

I'm about an hour south of Allentown, and about 45 west of Philadelphia in Chester County near King of Prussia.

I had checked into flying from Allentown, but it wasn't really any cheaper so went with Philly.
