This is our 1st time to Disney and taking my DD5 and DD6. We are not planning to attend the MNSSHP, but planned on going to MK on that day. So, would it be a bad idea if we did BBB and then CRT for early dinner on the day of MNSSHP?

Also, how long does it typically take at the boutique? And will I be able to schedule both girls at the same time? I'm wondering how much time I need to allow between BBB and CRT dinner. Thanks so much!

I don't have experience with a double booking or going during MNSSHP, but we have gone at a peak time, and done BBB followed by CRT dinner. We were at BBB for just under an hour. We waited about 10-15 minutes from our start time, the makeover (crown package) took about 30 minutes, and another five minutes or so to settle the tab.

We have done the BBB at both the Castle and Downtown Disney locations several times each. The staff has always been great about taking both our daughters at the same time and also seating them near each other so that my husband and I can watch them both have their hair, make-up and nails done. The fairy godmothers-in-training work at different speeds so we have had them finish at different times. Usually, the wait has been no more than 10-15 minutes to start the appointments and it typically takes about an hour for the entire process. Your girls will have a wonderful time!:thumbsup2

While we ended up having a change of plans, I had booked a mother/daughter BBB appointment for our trip last summer and they were able to give us the same appointment time and made a note to seat us together. I had a friend take her two girls back in Dec and they had the same appt time as well and were seated together too.

As for timing, we were trying to time it up with lunch when we did it in 2010, but we had a 10am at BBB and a 12:15pm at CRT. There was a bit of a wait at BBB, but I think it was a little after 11am when we finished up. We skipped doing photos, but we had enough time to ride the carousel, m&g Mary Poppins, ride Small World, and ride Peter Pan (with a wait) and we still were early to CRT.

BBB took us around an hour. My daughter loved it! If you have park hoppers, I would play it safe and book at Akerhaus in Epcot, instead of CRT. We've been to both and actually prefer Akerhaus. The food is better and you still get plenty of interaction with the princesses.

IMHO, I highly recommend an 8:00 BBB reservation in MK and 9:30 CRT reservation. I know you were looking for dinner but nothing beats being the first ones into the MK and seeing a nearly empty Main Street. We have twins and they were seated right next to each other. I would also preorder the Photopass. The photographers know exactly which shots to take...they come out FANTASTIC! TOTALLY worth the hundred bucks (preorder price). While they were photographing, I also used my own camera while DH videotaped.
