We thougth ds had bipolar for a short time until he was diagnosed with seizures which present themselves with the same type of extreme moods and behaviors so I was able to relate to this article so much...the feeling of isolation, arguing with dh, guilt, finding the right doctor, medications, the decision to not have (adopt) more kids, throwing birthday party invitations away, just about everything to some extent.
