Bingo?

There’s the chance that the big Jackpot, the $10,000 + one, will be advertised as “Guaranteed”. Then the winner will make the big bucks. When or why that happens, I have no idea.

A few years ago my DH won the last game of the cruise.
He won over3400$
And was paid in cash since itvwas the last game to of the cruise
It went right to the room and in the safe
Although we did go to the next cruise desk and went to Alaska the next year.
When he won though it didn’t have to be within a certain number of calls
We live playing bingo
Won quite a bit at the local casino

Odd how some games pay out like that within a certain amount of numbers and others dont. 🤔

We enjoy playing and try to make every session. Won a few times but spent much more than we won. The CMs make it fun. Our tablenates won the final bingo one time for $10K. Was sitting right next to them and they definitely had fun!

See if there is a game that says GUARANTEED $10,000 jackpot (or some other high amount). It may have to do with how big the actual "take" is for DCL? For instance if over the course of 3 cruises they now have their minimum (maybe they want to to make $10,000 per cruise, based on who played and for how long) and the amount they have is over that minimum amount, they can THEN allow a giant "POT" for the amount over their 'cost' of the game. DCL has to make something in order to make it worth it for them to run Bingo!

I’ve seen it happen a few times during longer trips, usually around day five or six. We joke about it, but yeah, it definitely feels like a real thing sometimes.

I want us to play it at least once, for fun. If we were to win, great, but I'm looking for fun and entertainment. So does anyone recommend a certain game day, like maybe on the second day or last day? The last day is always the most expensive, right? The earlier games are less expensive and less crowded?

I played bingo the last session of my Treasure cruise in late October. I got the tablet with 72 cards or something. It was $90. There was $ 70 option with 36 cards. The final bingo game where you have to cover all the numbers. The person one over 12k . I think in earlier sessions you can win the big jackpot if you do it in within a specific ball limit but on the final session of the cruise they will give it away no matter how many balls it takes. I don’t normally play but I have done the final session of bingo three times. Never won anything. Can be very entertaining depending on the CMs working the bingo.

Right, entertainment is how you have to go into it. Not counting on winning. Probably not wanting to spend $90 on just one game, but will know that may be the cost of it I have to cough up. 🫣

We have enjoyed playing. Longer cruises definitely have a bigger payout the last game. Only our 3rd cruise the but 10k Jackpot has always been “in so many numbers” to win the prize. We only had time for one game this time and most of the first game jackpots were around $600. One game 17 people hit so they split it 17 ways, or one coffee drink the entertainment team joked. I would say the many times we have played, the odds “seem” better if you do the digital since you can play a lot more cards but you honestly just stare at the screen. We get the “old school” and the digital when we play.

It was $90 for the session which consisted of 4 games. There were 2 lower options but the next lower tier was $ 70 for 36 cards so $ 20 more bucks for a significant more amount of cards was a better deal.
