Just off the fantasy today and happy to report that the bingo jackpot is back. The final game jackpot grew to over $12k dollars and the guy sitting in front of me won it all, with no other winners to share it with. The standard 46 ball coverall each session was in play also but no one won it and it became winner takes all at the final session. The final session on our fantasy (eastern itinerary) was the last sea day. It was held in the movie theater and was so crowded they sold out of electronic tablets. The line waiting to get in was crazy long and they were still selling paper tickets for the final game while the first three short games were being played to keep it on schedule. In chatting with one of the entertainment staff he said it was one of the largest jackpots he’s ever seen a single person win and he’s worked with Disney for over 10 years.

So glad to hear this! Yay!

Nice! Was Sail Away Party back? Hope you enjoyed your cruise!
We did not have a sail away or pirate party but I think it was starting back on the next sailing. Other than those two things missing it felt just like cruising pre-covid. We had main dining and did notice they were still sitting only one family per table. There were about 2700 people onboard.

We are taking our first post-COVID cruise on the Fantasy in October. So excited! Bingo is one of our favorite things to do so I'm happy the final jackpot is back on! Did they have electronic bingo card machines?

What is the difference between the $10,000 mega jackpot bingo and the final jackpot bingo. Is the way you win different? Newbie bingo player here. Thanks!

The mega jackpot that can be won during regular bingo on the ship has to be won in 43 or 46 numbers called and you have to cover all the numbers on the card. The final game of bingo on the ship before you leave is the winner take all jackpot that keeps rolling over and the pot gets bigger as more people play. It’s still a coverall but you don’t need to do it in a certain amount of numbers called.

so is there not a bingo that you win by getting a row of 5 or whatever the number is? All of the winnings or at least big winnings come from a coverall?

I just got off the Magic on Friday they had bingo jackpot, fireworks included with the pirate show, sail away party also. And it was only a four night cruise.

There are multiple games. Yes, there is a simple 5 in a row game, but there are also other variants. The winner take all is a coverall game.

There are typically 4 games played in a bingo session the first three games are more regular bingo with lines, postage stamps in the corners etc but with so many people playing 24 to 48 cards each on the electronic they only take about 5 minutes or less each game for someone to win. The coverall consumes most of the bingo time.

The paper bingo cards are set in plastic and reusable. Not a fan. At least on the Magic that’s the way it is now.

The big winnings are the coverall. The round with just the row is a smaller prize around $100-200

When is bingo usually held. My granddaughter would love to play, but we are on Wish day, and plan to do some excursion on Nassau and enjoy part of day on Castaway. I'm now regretting choosing the 3 day over 4 day; but it's our first cruise ever, and wanted to sample causing first, but I'm feeling we won't be able to do much on board.

I guess that's a reason to do another cruise, if we like it.

Skip the excursion on Nassau. I have never once heard someone say “Gee I’m so glad I went onshore in Nassau instead of enjoying the limited time we have on the ship.” Have heard a LOT of people say the reverse though.

On a 3 day cruise they are going to have bingo on your Nassau and Castaway days. A 3 day is really short, but it's perfect for someone that has never cruised before. There is a chance you may not like it so anything longer would be miserable. Like the previous poster said stay on the ship while in Nassau, but that's only if you've never been to Nassau. I think it's worth checking out just to say you've been there

Bingo is not while you are at port. Just after you leave maybe but never while at port.
I always regret I didn’t do back to back 7 day cruise’s. Try everything on the Navigator. Try new things especially! Buy a placeholder on the app before you leave.
How does it work with the tablet ?
All you have to do with a tablet is:
1. hold it.
2. Stand when you are 1 number away.
3. Act a fool, jump around, scream bingo so they know you have bingo!
The best chances are always your top cards shown on the tablet. If you have 48 cards on the tablet to play you will see 6 or 8 I forget which. But all the cards with your best chance will be on the screen for you.

Interesting point about there not being bingo while at port which makes sense
