I have read plenty threads on the Dis where people have had very strong opinions about celebrations in the far East. I guess people in the US shouldn´t voice there opinions on those celebrations according to your reasoning?
I just don't see the need to comment in this case.
If you wish to apply my reasoning to other circumstances, you may.
But Al Quaida (sp?) celebrating 9/11 is NOT the same as Americans celebrating the capture/execution of a murderer.
You cited that those two celebrations were no different. I vehemently disagree.
What purpose does it serve for you to complain? You can say how you understand until you are blue in the face, but everyone is different and some people rejoice when justice was served.
So unless you are reasoning that 9/11 was justice for American government action in prior decades and the folks still should not have celebrated the carnage--we are talking apples and oranges and no, my statement would not apply to the celebrations of the death of innocent people.

lol, so you post opinions based on media and minimal visits, and friends of friends, but offended when someone else does the same to you? You like hearing opinions about your country. I gave one. You don't like it?
