We will be there Mon-Wed so I was wondering if we only have time for one show at the Horseshoe, should we make it Billy Hill or Laughing Stock? We also have kids 4 and 6 so which is the best to appeal to them?

Definitely agree. I thought Laughing Stock was kinda blah. Billy Hill is terrific.

I still have not seen a Billy Hill show but would love to do so on my upcoming trip. The age range of kids in our group are 4 - 10. Would they be entertained? Also, is it a place where you can have a drink or snack while watching the show?

Yes and yes. My 4 yo and 7 yo loved it. And they serve food inside or you can bring in food. Check allears.net for the menu: nuggets, fish n chips, etc.

LS is a little over the heads of the age group you have but BH is fun and they might enjoy the music and antics.
Yes, you can get sodas, water and food and sit down and take a break. But get there before show time because it fills up fast!

I'll 4th the Billy Hill opinion. I saw it for the first time last month and oh my goodness it was great, I wish I had seen it a second time.

Oh, yeah I'm sure they'll love it, it really is an all ages show. Yes there is food and drinks.

I have not see a Billy Hill show for a couple years now, nor did I go willingly. But I do remember enjoying it more than laughing stock's antics. Billy is very talented, and even if you do not enjoy the jokes or the hill billy theme... you can appreciate just how much talent is put into that show....

Take for instance, this clip of Billy playing a very difficult song on the guitar. He pulls it off fantastically.

I am sad that I missed them on my last trip. I will have to figure out when I can squeeze them in next time.

Wow, Disneynerd. That was a great clip!

You're right -- it's easy to dismiss these guys, if you've never seen them before, as just another hillbilly act. But you'd be wrong. They're actually amazingly accomplished muscians, actors, and comedians.

Thanks for the clip.

Bob

Billy Hill no question. We've been going to their shows for years and I was excited to see if my girls liked it. Well both DDs (4 & 2) were enthralled just like the rest of my family. The show is not to be missed!!!

See this guy in my avatar??

He's a hunka hunka burnin love!:love: Make sure you see him! You won't regret it.

Unaminous for BH for a good reason! It's one of my favorite things to do at DL.
The fish-n-chips there is big enough to split ( had leftovers with 3 orders for 4 people), and the sundaes are great ( and not the long gibson girl lines).
But do arrive early.

Billy Rocks! My kids have been going since they were still in the stroller and we would never consider a trip to Disneyland complete until we have seen them at least once...usually twice.

This show is for all ages. :thumbsup2

Elvis Billy and the Hillbillies!!!!! One of my favorite things about all of Disneyland by the way.

Okay so I have a question about this show for all the Billy experts. How EARLY is EARLY to get there to get a table for four? Like wait until the people leave and they open it back up, is there a queue, etc. According to the times below, what time would they open the theater back up for the next guests? Where are the best seats? I assume we would love to sit right up in front. My son plays guitar and I think he would really love to see that great guitar action action up close.

We would have to go to a show on Sunday Feb 28...probably a early afternoon show, the current times listed are 11:15 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. 12:15 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. 1:30 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. 3:15 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. 4:30 p.m. to 4:55 p.m. 5:30 p.m. to 5:55 p.m. I am thinking lunch or at least a dessert or treat would be consumed...

Any tips on the how/when/where would be appreciated (the WHO and WHY has obviously been covered)...

We like to get there as one show is ending to get good seats up front. They open the doors about 15 minutes before the first show. But after that, you can come and go as you please. No lining up.

I see the skull and crossbones??

Jack

She removed the pic of our bofriend from her avitar. But he's still up in mine!
