My husband and I were at Citywalk waiting for a table at Motown Cafe. We were sitting directly across from the restaurant near the escalator and it was a guy standing there drinking a beer, wearing sunglasses (which I thought was strange, since it was dark). We were chatting with him, but never really paid attention to his voice/accent until another guy walked up with his girl (this guy was totally drunk) and he said, "Hey, You know you look just like BB Thornton), and the guy said "and you need to go home and get some sleep)".. My husband and I started laughing at his comment, and when the drunk guy and his girlfriend walked away, the guy with the beer said people like that should never drink. We continued to chat with him, and when our table was ready, he said have a nice dinner. Well at that moment, my hubby and I were walking away and we turned and looked at each other and then at him, and my husband said, He does look and sound a lot like BB Thorton, and I said, no way, do you think its him? and when we turned and look at him again, he smiled and gave a wink! He was just standing there alone, hanging out, drinking his beer. When we got to our table, I told my husband "I'm going back out there and ask him if he really is BBT, but he was gone! He looked and sound exactly like him, but we never noticed until the drunk came along. My husband think it was him, and because he knows we did not recognize him he continued to chat with us. hmmmmmm???
