For those of you who had both procedures done at one tme or another, is the brazillian much more painful? I am so tempted to try it, but not if it is going to hurt too much. Any experiences?

Yes, yes yes! Can't go into details without being graphic, but it definitely hurts a lot more than a simple bikini wax.

(But oh so worth it!)

Why do you say that? :confused3 I just asked a simple question. :confused3

Because, as one moderator said in a thread similar to this..."This is not a DIS appropriate topic"

If you can handle bikini, you can handle brazilian. It's not much worse.

There have been a lot of posts about this which don't last - a lot of people find it offensive.

But, I can say that i've had both and won't do the latter again.

It hurts way too much, and IMO, is unnecessary.

Well, you'll never know until you try it. I'd really like to try it, but I'm afraid. I think I"ll just wait until I can afford laser hair removal. Then I don't ever have to worry about it again, :cool1:

Brazil is a long way to travel for a wax, and the bikini islands are in the pacific right? Can't you get a wax in your town. Probably less expensive

Where do you get them at? I was thinking of one but never had one so not sure where you can get em

I have only done the latter and it did hurt a bit but it was my first time. I am going again in a week. The pain wasn't intolerable and it was/is well worth it.

Spas and salons.

I have it great. A friend of mine has home parties once a month and it is half off...I have a glass of wine and relax. I never have to remember to schedule;)
