OK, quick serious question before this thread is closed. How long does the waxing last before you have to do it again?

Angela, it depends. Usually you'll be hair free for a couple weeks and then you have to let it grow in again til it's at least 1/4". So four weeks between appts. But the more you go, the less that grows in...a definite plus! :goodvibes

One more question before it gets locked. Did/does your significant other prefer the "clean shaven" look?

yes, but I do it more for me. Razon burn stinks!

I heard you have to put your feet behind your head while having it done. :teeth:

OMG, I haven't been able to do that since.... since... wait, I guess never.

Sometimes you need to sit funny to get it done, like one leg at a time?

It can last about 3 weeks.

IMO - it just doesn't last long enough to have it done, and for $60 a pop, that's way too much money to spend for something that just doesn't last.

Is it really embarrassing? That is the reason I haven't done this (would be nice not to worry bout the razor though). I hate not 'knowing' what is involved and don't want to freak by going in uninformed LOL. You can PM me if you want. Or is there a website that explains it?

{And is anyone else carefully considering what they type so that it doesn't sound awful LOL?!}

i think they should offer classes to guys on how to do it for their significant other..... kind of incorporate it into the whole intimate experience. :)

True dat!

Hillbeans, I read a birth story where the 9-months preg lady got a brazilian a few days before her C-section. Now if she ain't high maintanance, I don't know who is!

Eww. No way. There are some things that are just sacred. This is one of them!

I would love to give details, however i'll get locked out.

It was not embarassing....if you go to someone who is experienced.

I guess you're right, I can't even trust my husband to wash my clothes without shrinking them :)

This image is haunting me now. You know, I don't even trust DH to wax my eyebrows. Can you imagine if he didn't get the tape off in one swoop.
