Biking at night?

All,

We had considered the idea of biking around the campground at night to see the holiday decorations and displays people have set up. However, I've also noticed the post regarding the reckless driving of golf carts mentioned here on the boards. Is it safe enough to ride on bikes at night, or should we plan on getting bike lights and/or personal strobes to let people know we're there?

Thanks in advance for your help,

- Mark

I would suggest lights regardless of the golf carts. In general, the roads, especially in the loops, are dimly lit at best. From a safety perspective, I would go for the headlights and flashing tail lights. We have them on our bikes, and have no regets. ::MickeyMo

we used lights on our bikes and it was wonderful. It does get rather dark on some paths. We had nothing but wonderful experiences from the people with golf carts. Everyone we came across were very polite and coridal.
