Hi all! I have been googling with no results so hoping someone can help.
What is the biggest suite available at specifically Paradise Pier but also looking at GC or DH. Are there any extra large 2 bedrooms? Any 3 bedrooms?
We are visiting again next Christmas and my parents and sisters want to come.
All together there would be 8 of us.
I am guessing we will end up with 2 rooms, but if we could get a large suite that would be great!
Do most suites come available as conceriege level?
We stayed as a family when Paradise Pier was the Pan Pacific and stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite but can't find the room info on the website.
Any help?

There are still a handful of 2 bed 2 bath suites at Paradise Pier. We stayed in one last month. Living area had its own bathroom as well so it was actually 2 bed and 3 bath!

One room has a king and a full sized fold out couch. The second room was two queens and a fold out oversized chair. And the couch in the living room converted to a bed as well. When we booked, I believe they said it sleeps 11.

Since there are so few they book quickly. I didn't see it online as available but when I called to book I asked about it and lucked out.
May be worth calling to ask.

We have stayed in 3 bedroom suites at both the Grand and DLH and a 2 bedroom suite at the DLH. Both of our stays at the DLH were concierge, the one at the Grand was not (but we also didn't ask about it). I haven't stayed at PPH yet (first trip in a week), but my understanding is they have 2 & 3 bedroom as well. Our room layouts were as follows

3 bedroom DLH - two rooms with 2 queens each (one with a day bed), 1 king room, family room, 3.5 baths - there were 9 of us.
3 bedroom GCH - two rooms with 2 queens each, 1 king room, family room w/ fold out couch, 3 baths - there were 8 of us (my brother's family of 3 couldn't come last minute)
2 bedroom DLH - one room with 2 queens, 1 room with king, family room with Murphy bed - there were 7 of us.

The 3 bedroom at the DLH had the most amount of room, but I much preferred the layout of the 3 bedroom at the Grand (flow was better). Plus we had a wrap around deck there.

Any other questions feel free to ask :) I also have some pictures I could PM if you're interested.

I wanted to add that to the best of my knowledge these aren't able to be booked online. We have always had to call to book them.

The largest suites are the Grand Villas, part of Villa Grand Californian :goodvibes
3 bedroom Grand Villa - two rooms with 2 queens each, 1 king room, family room, dining room, pool table, 2 foldout couches, 4 baths, full kitchen, washer/dryer -- sleeps 12
2 bedroom dedicated villa - one room with 2 queens, 1 king room, family room w/ fold out couch and single murphy bed, 3 baths, full kitchen, washer/dryer -- sleeps 9

These are generally not available for cash reservations, but must be booked by renting DVC points. Cost is often lower than similar "normal" hotel suites.
Research the DVC forums here on DIS and rental services (David's Rental has a nice cost calculator).
There is some availability Dec 18-22, but often VGC must be booked more than 7 months in advance.

We usually get a suite at the DLH, as we are a big family. The 2 bedroom we usually get is one room a 2 queen, one room a king with a day bed, then the living room with a double sofa sleeper.

Here is a pic of the living room (we had 12 for football).

Each bedroom has a full bath, the living room has a 1/2 bath.

As a PP stated, I'd look into renting points from someone who owns DVC at the GCV. Depending on exactly when in December, you may need the 11th month advantage. :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh Nonsuch! :hyper:
You are making me miss staying there all over again!!! :rolleyes1
Miss the 3 bedroom grand villa SOOO MUCH!!! :lovestruc
I'm at a crossroads as to where to use my upcoming full round of 2016 points.....
Thanks for helping me stroll down memory lane!!! :goodvibes ::yes::

Yes, unfortunately the biggest suite available at the Paradise Pier is a two bedroom (which as a previous poster mentioned can have as many as three bathrooms if there's a third bathroom in your living room portion of the suite) suite with a king in one room and two Queens in the second bedroom, plus a queen pull out in the living room area. Both the DLH and the GCH have three bedroom suites. and DLA has a limited number of two bedroom suites available with two queens in each of those bedrooms. I'm not sure if the grand has the same thing but I would imagine they do

You will have to call to get the rates, the suites do not come up on the website unless you request a package. I called the other day regarding 1BR suites and it was easy to get the info. I asked them to give me rates for all 3 properties so I could compare. There are no specials out for the holidays yet, but keep checking.

Does anyone know if you get a suite, does that automatically get you a good view? I am specifically interested in a 1BR suite at DLH and would love to be able to see the fireworks.

We've had pool views and resort views in a suite. They won't usually guarantee a specific view on the suites.
