We have been there for Halloween serveral times - it coincides with my DS's school break! They are usually putting on the Christmas decorations by the time we leave, but have not seen the decorated Castle lit up yet - but someday! I think Christmas would be awesome!
Good vibes to everyone for weigh in tomorrow! I have stuck to plan 6 of 7 days, hopeful for a loss...pushing through hard for this last month, feeling my body losing, that is a cool place to be!! The first 40 pounds, just really could not tell...but now my body is morphing and I am beginning to see outlines of a healthy body again! Big motivator!
It is quite subtle at first, and then you start seeing things coming through. I still see a difference when I walk in a place with a mirror and I can't believe I look so different! And I still have about 15-25 pounds to go! It is a good feeling to start seeing and feeling the difference, and you are right, super motivator!
Well hello gang....things have been crazy as usual around here. I have been so tired mentally and physically and can't seek to get into a good routine.
Am really struggling this week as both kids have started "hell week" which means 2 practices a day which means high carb diet in this house to keep them fueled

Any good suggestions as to how to manage meals without having to cood 2 seperate things??
Anyone have good healthy carb suggestions?? Neither of them will eat breakfast in the morning before the first practice (1. because they don't get up soon enought, 2. because it seems to be heavy on their stomach during practice)....any good suggestions???
Oatmeal is the only really good carb that comes to mind, but whole wheat breads and pasta. DS usually has a few cheerios before he goes out on his runs, then comes home and eats protein - usually our sandwich meat!

Well, my cursor got stuck, was not showing up and when I typed was not where I needed it - so I hit escape and it wiped out my answers and had to start all over again. And on top of that, has anyone noticed smiley's coming and going? I was looking for the cheer one and did not want to open the window

Well, most of the Olympics over and I finally got a good nights sleep - I overslept! Oh well, I guess I needed it and my boss is out this week anyway. Of course, when I oversleep so does everyone else!
DS did not start running since the dentist put those bands in. It is slowly getting better. We are going to Mt Vernon on Sunday for his AP History assignment, hope he feels better then. He really wants to start practice on Monday, or he will be so far behind he'll never really get up to speed. They gave us the schedule. The regionals are on 11/1, and we are scheduled to fly off to WDW at 9:50 that night! His first year in XC, he probably won't be in them, but am going over in my head how to work that since it is an evening meet. Hope he has time to grab a shower before we get on the plane

It has really been quiet on these boards - I guess everyone is out on vacation or enjoying the last bit of summer. Me...I can't wait for school to start (although DS can). I like a set routine, and the summer is a little too loose. Plus it means the end of hot weather and our WDW trip getting closer!
Have not been OP all week. Too crazy and too tired. Trying to be good today - again - but weigh in tomorrow will probably be ugly.
I start coaching tomorrow, but I might try posting the QoTD before I turn in tonight, if I am awake enough to do it
