Biggest Loser Show Chit Chat Thread

I'm part of the BL Challenge on these boards and I try to challenge everyone to get in some kind of workout during the show. I try and do 2-3 miles on Tuesday nights! I just pretend Jillian is screaming at me when I feel like I want to stop! Very motivating!

That's a good way of thinking about it! :)

Shawn, there is a recap on nbc.com and you can watch the whole episode. There are blurbs all over the place online now, too. I've watched the end so far now will go back and watch the rest later today.

You should be able to watch it online by tomorrow.

We live outside the US - can't watch any shows on NBC.com (or ABC, CBS or any US television network) and can't watch shows on HULU either! :sad2: That's why we pay so much every month to get US cable TV through our slingbox device.....but yes I can check online for a synopsis or read the recap on NBC, thanks:thumbsup2

I need to figure out why the show didn't record....I think my Slingbox was also set to record American Idol (was that on last night?) and it recorded a "Walking Dead" marathon instead of either AI or BL:confused3
I removed all future episodes of Walking Dead, that was hubby's show:mad:

I'm going to check my DVR every night before going to bed to make sure my shows are set to record!:wizard:

ETA: Just read the recap on NBC - WOW! I am very very surprised at the Black team. I guess you never know how you will truly feel until you get to the ranch...but geez, someone else could have had their spots! I hate I missed the episode!

Shawn- Idol is on Wednesdays and Thursdays this season. Watching it right now! Liking it a lot more than I thought I would!

Sorry, Shawn! :flower3: I forgot about the slingbox thing. I haven't finished watching the whole episode but the highlights pretty much covered all the good stuff. PM me and I will try to answer any questions that you might have.

Can't wait to watch, I have both AIs recorded. I heard at yoga this morning there were some touching stories!

Thanks Lisa :goodvibes We actually may be getting a US "address" on our computer soon and doing away with the slingbox. You pay $50 per year for the "address" (I can't remember the technical term right now) so it looks like you are logging on from the US and can watch TV shows through the network websites and Hulu, etc. We are paying $100 monthly for the cable through slingbox right now:scared1:

I just have one comment about this week's show -- if you believe you can do it at home, you shouldn't take the spot of someone who feels they really need it and wants to be there. I think that's disrespectful to the other contestants and everyone else who tried out or is watching not to do your very best. I think I can say that much without being a spoiler, at least I hope so!

Of course, I'm more interested in changing your life than winning the game...

I am really enjoying this season so far! I love the teamwork of Jillian and Bob's teams!!!! I feel like they've gone back to the original format!

Ok, make that 2 comments -- I absolutely agree with you, and for some reason I really like these contestants better than the last batch. I would love to see more of the "unknowns", I'm finding this season much more "watchable"!

It's a small price to pay to keep up with what you are missing at home! :flower3:

Isn't that the truth? :thumbsup2 Yes, this season is definately more interesting than it has been for awhile. It will be interesting to see how everything shakes out.

I have been a bit behind but finally caught up watching all the shows. I wish they would show more of the Unknowns, but it was nice to see the trainers finally and get to know them a bit. The teamwork of the Unknowns, I wonder how that is going to translate once they go back to the ranch in a couple weeks.

The black team, I have to say its disappointing that they seem to be throwing away the greatest opportunity. Dan did seem to do well at home at least.

The show seems to be more like it was originally, less game play at this point, unlike last season. But that may change once everyone is back at the ranch.

Short show. Trying to do too much so didn't get much of anything really. Maybe next week will be more exciting.

I have to say that none of that food really looked that appetizing after sitting for who knows how long during filming. :confused3

I think it would have been more fair to have one team from each group working for the letters home, too.

But what do I know -- I'm just a viewer! ;)
