Biggest Loser Red Team Week 4

Walked 2 miles yesterday and 2 today.

I'm TIRED!!! I almost posted on the Blue Team thread! Yes, it's been a rough weekend.

I've only managed 60 min of purposeful exercise walking. Done lots of other walking, but......

Hopefully I'll be able to get back in the groove, soon! Weigh in isn't looking too hopeful for me as I've been way off track. (more in my journal)
 
Good Morning everyone!!! Where are you all?? I didn't get much excercise in this weekend except a lot of mall walking. We had a new wing open up at our mall and it was worse than Christmas!! Dh and I are planning on working out tonight, but my allergies are driving me nuts. So I am hoping this migraine holds off and we can at least do something inside (rain, rain go away ;) ) Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I got sick on Friday and stayed home. Then Ryan got sick. It was a horrible weekend with us being sick and it rained horribly all day Friday and Saturday. I still felt too weak to exercise yesterday. I'm hoping to get back into the swing tonight. Sorry to let everyone down on the exercise front. I'm hoping things get back to normal.
 

It looks like we are all losing steam! What is up with that?

I had ahorrible weakend of eating...all sorts of junk...some good, some not really worth eating...but I ate the whole thing! What is up with that?

One good thing I did do that was good, I went for a walk on Satuday night. I was intending to go ona nice little 3 mile walk, when on my way home I met up with this nice lady in her 60's. It was a perfect night to be walking and she said hello and told me she hated walking alone at night, but had to get it in. I asked if she would like some company and walked three more miles with her. So, I was able to get 120 minutes of walking in and had a lovely time. Funny thing is, she is the neice of Nann, who is the best friend of Alene, who used to be our neighbor. ;) We had a nice talk whime we walked. It was kind of funny to do that six degrees of seperation thing. I hope to run into her again some time for another walk.

I head out Wedensday morning for a business trip tp Peoria! I can hardly wait....NOT! Anyway, back to work for me!

Monte, way to go on teh walking thing! How is your training going? Have you found the book to be helpful for your training? I can not stress enough how important it is to follow that schedule. Keep up the great work!

Goldcup, I hear you on the eating thing. My weighin is not look too hopefull either. I think I better start the hyunger strike now...... :rolleyes: if only I had THAT kind of willpower!

Laura, good luck with your jury duty stuff. Sounds like GREAT fun....NOT! I guess time away from home can be nice? I am not at ALL looking forward to my business trip. Of course my company spared NO expense and we are staying at the Red Roof Inn :rotfl2: I am hoping it is at least clean and bug/rodent free. Wishfull thinking, I am sure! Hope you are in some nice digs!

Mike, sorry to hear you missed out on that Disney trip! I free trip is never a bad trip in my opinion! Glad to hear you have been doing so well! Keep up the good work andkeep up with all that walking you are doing! It sounds like you are really enjoying yourself. That is great! I am so proud of you. And if your folks would like to take me to Disney, I could and would take your place. ;) Please let them know! :flower:

Oh, and after the last exercise challenge.... I haven't seen that BLUE team around to challenge us to anything else. They must be VERY,VERY scared! We ought to see if they want to play another game..... :earboy2:

My sinuses finally caught up with me on Saturday and I spent the whole day on the couch. And I woke up with pinkeye in one eye. I have no idea where I picked it up, my son doesn't have it.

Today I exercised for 30 min. I'm trying to break back in slowly. I still can't get rid of my cough. But i've been doing pretty good eating, I've coughed so much I have to make myself eat sometimes.

I hope everyone has a better day today. Only one more day for this week then we start all over. Maybe we just needed to chill out for a day or two.

Oooh! Sounds like we have a lot of the sickies going around! Sending pixie dust to everyone for better feelings!

Yesterday was my rest day but I did take a 15min walk in the rain and today I got my 25min in so far. It is raining nastily here again, so I am not sure if I will be up for another "wet" walk, we'll see! It is actually cold now, which sucks!

I am making a late lunch and who knows what later today! We'll see!!

Today was a bit better, still no exercise. UGH!!! I need a 26 hour day REALLY bad right now!
 
Just checking in. I lost 4 lbs this week and did a total of 250 min of exercise.

I hope everyone is feeling better. It is so quiet lately. I am not able to make it to chat on Mondays because I have to pick up my dd's from gymnastics. Did anyone chat last night?
 
Checking in for week four. I lost 1.5 this week and did 230 minutes of excercise. I think I'm back on the wagon.

Didn't lose an ounce this week, but....I didn't GAIN!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!! Never thought I"d be so happy to not lose!!

Did WATP 4 mi this morning, so 55 more min for me.

Hopefully things will begin to calm down again around here.

I copied this from Week 3. I've updated so far. We have 1470 exercise minutes so far, if I've counted correctly.

I'm going to the dr later today and hopefully I will get the GOOD cough medicine and be able to get some sleep tonight.

Adding Goldcupmom's exercise minutes so that makes it 1525

Exercise minutes so that makes it 1590

I added AuntieM03 exercise and WI information. I didn't get to add much to the exercise minutes for the week but this week will be better. I lost 3.2 pounds this week and was really surprised since I had been out of town for 5 days.

Hello all! I lost 1 pound this week. I also exercised 180 minutes. So we can add that to the total.

I will not here for weigh in next week. I will be walking many miles at Disney. I will update you all when I return. We leave Friday so I am busy packing etc. GO RED TEAM!!!

Several of us did chat last night, agotta, goldcupmom & me... though I arrived late!! :) It was fun. Would another night or time work better for you? I'm sure we can be flexible. Red Team chat always invigorates me!

Hope everyone is doing well as it is weigh in day! <insert rumbling of thunder> I am honestly not sure how, because I ate giant chocolate chip cookies (we're talking the size of your head, well I only had half of a cookie at a time but still...) with dinner several times, but I am down 5 POUNDS this week!!! I got on the scale and was down 4lbs, then I got back on to verify and it was 5, and the next 6 times I checked it was 5! hehe! So I am going to own it! :)

Slept too late to get my exercise in this am, but I am going to finally go to water aerobics today!! Hold me to this people!!! Shame me if I do not!!! :goodvibes

Can't wait to hear how everyone else did this week!

Hey guys! No loss for me this week, but no gain either!! I didn't do any formal excercising, I guess if you count my walking in NYC that could easily be a couple of hours :rotfl2: Good job everyone!! How have we been doing? Who won the first couple of weeks, us or blue?
