Good Morning Red Team,

We had a fantastic week and I'm so proud of all the exercise we all did. :cheer2:

Just finished WATP 4 mile 55 min. Who's next??

I did SS and bike yesterday for 90 min and JFA and bike for 90 today.

Week 4 exercise total 3 hours

I made Amanda's pumpkin pudding yesterday and it was really good.

I did 40 minutes of walking on Tuesday and 40 minutes on Wednesday.

Hey There!

Just checkingin and saying :wave2: I am having a BAD start to this week! My eating was horrible yesterday.....not even going ot go ito it. And even worse is that Saturday is going to be off the charts in points.....I am thinking there really is no good way to count points and fondue.....regardless of how many points I bank and how many hours of exercise I manage to get in.....as if there were tome in my day to exercise for hours anyway!

Anyway, sorry to be such a downer. This week is proving to be a struggle very early on........

Hope you all are doing better.......

Bagels taste like dirt, bagels taste like dirt.....
McDonald's tastes like dirty grease, McDonald's tastes like dirty grease....

This list could get REALLY long!

Counting Mike's exercise minutes for yesterday on the Week 3 thread we have 355 minutes so far. That's amazing, we're only on day 2 of the week.

Have a great day!!

Marty

Liz, think about you bad your stomach will feel if you eat McD. Or you can think about the mice I see around mine sometimes. Maybe that'll help. You can do it!!

Marty... :rotfl2:

Actually with all the JUNK I ate yesterday...it was pretty amazing how I really did feel like crap! I think the headache I have today is a result of poor food choices from yesterday. Amazing what your body can tell you when you actually listen!

Thanks for the encouragement!!

Hope everybody else is having a great day!

I have ALREADY had 4 yes 4 diet cokes tis morning!! No more pop for me today. I challenge you all to substitue your "normal" drink for a water today at least once! Anybod in on this with me?

I now have a nice 9 oz. bottle of water on my desk....and I will continue to post for each and every bottle I drink today! Man, it is going to be a LONG day!

:flower:

Hi all,

Put me down for 25min so far today. I am hoping to do some mall walking later, we will see!!! :)
I can't wait for Tuesday's weigh in as I am down a few already... mostly due to, shall we say, being a little "bound up" on Monday & Tuesday of this week! hehehehehe Is that TMI? ;)

My stress weeks are over!!! Yay!!! I am psyched to be able to relax a bit again! Not sure what lunch will be yet but I think dinner is going to be Mushroom Jack Fajitas from Chili's with a garden salad! Yum!

Have a great day!

Liz, we've been drinking nothing but water for a couple of weeks, here at home. I try to buy my ds real orange juice for school snacks and I know it's his so I don't drink it. We were drinking a lot of caff free diet pepsi. My dh was having a lot of headaches so we stopped buying it and he's feeling better. I still get a coke when I go out to eat occasionally.

So no mouse burgers today? I thought that would do it for you. We really have seen mice outside of the McD that is the closest to us.

I feel like I have it easier than some of you because I am a SAHM. I don't face the temptations that you do at work. I don't have a vending machine taunting me when I walk by. No one brings treats to share with me, thank goodness. That's one reason I gained a lot of weight when I was pregnant. My co-workers wanted to feed me and brought me peanut butter donuts every Friday.

I have so much respect for all of you who have to fight those temptations at work. You deserve a few :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Marty

Ok, no Chili's for dinner, realized I needed the cash for dinner with my family tomorrow night but I did do about 40min of walking! I was very proud! I also shopped for real in a few stores for about 45min but I know we don't count those minutes! (But they count to me personally!! hehe!)

Mike :goodvibes

Count me in for 60 min of walking yesterday. Today I went to work at 7am and we were too busy to have breakfast or lunch. I just got home and I am too tired to eat or even think about exercising. I think running around the ER should count as some exercise. Maybe I should just go to work everyday and hope for a really busy day. No eating and running around like crazy should lead to weigt loss. :rotfl2:

Hey everyone! I am back. I haven't read any posts and we come back on later. I think I have food poisoning. UGHH :confused3

I did ABS and bike for 90 min.

Team exercise minutes 570

Amanda, what rotten luck. Food poisoning is so bad.

bcvprincesses, I hope you have a better day today. There really isn't a good day in the ER is there?

Marty

Put me down for 30 mins. walking yesterday (Thurs.) and one hour fit class on Wed. Keep up the good work! :earsgirl:

Thought you guys might find this neat. I did a map for each day I spent in NYC and were I walked. It might be hard to read because I backtracked a lot, so I listed under each map where I went and how many blocks I walked. I hope this pays off in next weeks weigh in.

*Marty I am glad you liked the pumpkin pudding!!

Day 2
Walked from Hotel up to Central Park. Stores weren't open yet so I circled the block and then went to the Disney Store - 45 blocks

Walked to Radio City Music Hall for daily tour - 10 blocks (not counting tour)
Walked up Park looking for somewhere to eat. Settled on Lemondae and Pretzel in Central park- 33 blocks

Walked up to Columbus Circel and down Broadway to 6th looking for a Coach bag for my Mom's boss. Got milkshake in Bryant park, walked back to hotel - 57 blocks

Walked to Grand Central for Dinner than back over to 6th and up to Penn Station to Go home!! 33 blocks

I had a ton of fun. Spent 5 hours at the MET on Wednesday and then took the nightime tour of Manhattan and the Brooklyn bridge. Thursday got to see Radio City and even meet a Rockette. Did a little bit of shopping and got 2 cute new watches! I was a little bad with food, but look at all the walking!!

I figure if a city block is 200' and I walked 216 that would be 43,200 feet or 8.1 miles. Wow, that wasn't as far as I thought. NYC tends to have long blocks and I usually split it up and counted it as 2 or 3 depending on the length.

Very cool tracked out maps agotta, that was good amount of walking you got in! I love NYC.

I need to report exercise for yesterday and today. Yesterday, 40min and today 20min. :)

Had a great night out with my family last night as they again tried to convince me to join them in Orlando. Sadly my boss has said no even though my folks were willing to buy my ticket, the trip to disney would cost me nothing and I can't go!! Waaah!!!! hehe But I did have a yummy healthy dinner at the Japanese hibachi place we went to, and I pretended we were at Teppanayaki in Epcot! hehe!

Today is a do nothing day for me, yay!!! Hope everyone is having a relaxing long weeekend!

Hey everyone...
Sorry I've been MIA for awhile. I think I told you all I had to go for federal jury duty in Philly ... well, I've been picked for a contentious little civil case, and I'll be down at least all this coming week, too. Joy.
As far as diet/exercise goes, between jury, traveling, work and weather (we've had something like 10 inches of rain here in the last two days, and it's still coming down), the last few days have been horrid. I've a mere 80 minutes of exercise to report so far for this week's challenge. Managed to get some time in Wednesday night on the hotel treadmill/elliptical, and I popped in a Leslie Sansone tape in for a while today. As usual, the eating could be worse, but I'm just not doing my absolute best, either. And living in a hotel again this coming week won't help. We'll see.
Send me some good vibes, folks!
Cheers,
Laura

Hi all. Just wanted to check in. This has been a crazy week but I have managed to get in 180 min of exercise this week since Tuesday. Trying to eat better but yesterday we went to Macaroni Grill yummmmmm

The trip to NYC looked like a lot of fun.

I hope to get in more walking tonight. Need all the help I can get
