I'm happy I've got a working WiiFit again.

But not happy that I've got a 0.4pound gain. Oh well, the last couple days were rough with a head cold, and I know I can do better
Hope that your cold gets better soon!

DS and I are fighting something this week-end, too. I am blaming it on the school kids!

I'm glad that you asked this question because I have been in a breakfast rut. I put a post in the healthy eating section and got lots of good suggestions. This is an area that definiately needs some improvement for me. I think I'm doing pretty well and all of a sudden I figure out I've had 9 points if I have a skinny latte! (That's about 1/3 of my points so maybe it's not too bad

Hey guys, sorry I've been MIA, I have been so stressed out. I ended up gaining 3 pounds because I ate to get through the stress.
On the good news front, I did earn my red belt. that was a lot of fun! BUT I held back at the beginning of testing so I would have enough steam left for the end, and I felt like I cheated myself. so proud and dissapointed at the same time.

Breakfast is actually one of my trouble spots. I don't eat most traditional breakfast foods and mornings tend to be so crazy that eating takes a backseat, which isn't good because then I end up grabbing something quick & junkie and/or overeating because I'm starving by the time I do get around to a meal. This is probably going to sound a little odd, but I've been grabbing a cup of lowfat, organic strawberry yogurt and one of DD1's arrowroot cookies for breakfast this past week. Just that little something light and sweet seems to make a big difference in getting the day started right.
I need some help in this area, too!
My usually is 1 cup of ceral w/ 1/2 cup skim milk. I dont usually have a lot of time in the mornings...so this is quick & easy.

Ok so some how after being discouraged this week the middleof this week I played my wii fit for 3 days and some how I lost 5 lbs?? Still in shock how that happened but not gonna complain either.

I'm working really hard to journal accurately this week. I haven't lost much lately, but I've also been doing some "guestimating" at my points and not measuring stuff. This morning I had cereal for breakfast and I measured out a double portion of cereal and milk, which was 6 points. There was less in the bowl than I normally eat and I had only been putting down 5 points before. I also tend to only journal for the first 2 or 3 days after weigh-in and then I slack off, so I'm going to make myself stick with it this week.
Good job with the journaling. It really does make a difference.
I'm a little better but couldn't eat much as when I did my stomach started bothering me again as well as my back a bit. I had a busy day with my daughter's soccer game this morning (SHE SCORED HER FIRST GOAL EVER!) and then I had to go to work. Oh, and they won the game 5-0!

Forgot to floss teeth yesterday due to the fact I was finishing the last Harry Potter book. Woke up at 3 am and couldn't fall back to sleep until I went and did it lol.
Susan, I just finished Deathly Hallows not too long ago. I loved it and I was alot happier at the end of that book than I was at the end of Half Blood Prince.
We are going to take it easy and fight off these colds. I would like to do a little housework since MIL is coming in 2 weeks but may not get too far.
