Well, since I didn't make it to the gym this morning... I walked this evening after doing my homework.

I have to go to the gym in the morning. There's just not enough hours in the day for workouts, school and work. :eek: :rotfl2:

I did real well eating today. Oatmeal for breakfast, turkey on a whole wheat tortilla and some broccoli for lunch and a big salad for dinner. I did have a small scoop of vanilla ice cream after dinner. whoops! :rotfl2:

Keep up the good work everyone. :dance3:

I have not been doing very well since we began this BL5 program. I have been PMSing pretty bad. I have been moody and tired which translates to eating and drinking too much and not exercising.

You guys are VERY motivating though!! I see the error of my ways and want to be back on track. Wednesdays are my water aerobics days after work. I WILL GO TOMORROW to water aerobics!!!

Sorry gang. I need a big kick in my big butt! I was good as gold all day today until I got home. We still have way too much wedding weekend food in the house and I had way too much of it.

I lost my new pedometer somewhere today and I didn't go out for my walk at lunch...I DISed instead. :sad2:

Anyone willing to give me a few Cyber-Kicks?? :rolleyes:
 

My boss bought us girls in the office, lunch today. We tried to be good and had 5 hugh salads delivered ( for us to share)..kind of like a salad bar. Tho I ate a bit of chef salad and lots of the mixed veggie salad (mostly brocolli and cauliflower in a lite vinegrette.....I couldn't resist the spaghetti salad and tuna past salad.

But I did come home and do lots of extra exercises and tomorrow (after work) I am going shopping for a new workout DVD so I can wiggle my jiggle!:cool1:

I have such a hard time in situations like that, I'm sure I would have blown it. Let us know what you buy and if you like it...I'm going to start picking up one here and there too.

My first training session is tomorrow at 6 AM...I'm really nervous. I meet my trainer, "Dakota", then too. I hope he's not horribly intimidating and that our personalities match. I don't know why I worry so much about this stuff, but I can't help it. I suppose I should shave my legs too. ;)

Just keep at it - that's all I can say. This is a tough week for me too...so you're not alone. Go to water aerobics...you'll get your motivation back!

Good Wednesday Morning

Hope everyone is staying on track. I too have strayed a little bit but not as much as in the past. Last night from about 8 on I wanted to eat somthing. I had nothing in mind but I just thought I should eat something. I never gave in and went to bed about 9:30.

So far this morning I have had my oatmeal (real heavy type) with cinnamon, flax seed, wheat germ and soy milk. I am just finishing my strawberries and have to drink my tea. I also packed my lunch of whole wheat pitas with hummas, snow peas and an orrange. DInner is macaroni (high fiber type) and sausage.

I got up this morning and walked another mile and then did the strength training in the latest Prevention magazine. You should give it a try it is a killer. It is a combination of strength training and yoga. I have done yoga in the past but I am never as flexible as the people in the magazines.

We have a WW meeting that opens at 7:00 am on Wednesday's so I'm stopping in to pick up a new pedometer. I'm walking at lunch for sure today!!:thumbsup2

the smaller version the word "challenge" doesn't show very well does it? i used a color from the tape measure there in the clip art, but i'll try to adjust it somehow. I have alot going on in RL these next 5-6 days but i'll try. next week at the latest

I just got back from my first training session at the gym. I really like my trainer, nice guy and not intimidating at all. Of course, he's probably 12 years younger than I am but that's ok. ;) He grew up in the Orlando area so we have plenty to talk about.:rotfl:

I'm SO out of shape...I knew it but it really hit home today. I was really struggling to get through basic weight training stuff but hopefully it'll get better. I hope.:eek:

What does everyone eat for breakfast? I just had blueberries, yogurt and granola. What do you eat after workout? I read a lot of good stuff about Syntrax Nectar but haven't tried it.

I'm rambling... :rolleyes1

My Zumba class last night was fun - I'm definitely going again! They only have it once a week, so I'm still looking to fit something else in too for activity. I'm waiting for a new DVD from amazon, so we'll see!

I am doing ok this week. Yesterday I ate really well and I walked 3 miles last night and did some crunches and strength work.

Today, we have a company lunch. Always hard, but I try to eat mostly veggies. Tonight, I want to walk the dog again. I am cooking thin cut chicken breasts for dinner. I've been good with not snacking late at night this week. I think taking the dog for a long walk and then having dinner is good for cutting the snacking at night.
