Morning BL teammies :love:

I reported but finally posting - no loss no gain - so I was "okay" - BUT - I am trying to "hit it" this week and have no excuse - DH gone from this evening through Sunday so it's just me and the cupboards! :rotfl2: I have a very long list of things to get done (which will keep me busy) and I will plan, plan, plan so that I can be with those losers next week! :yay:

CONGRATS to all those who are losing and to those who need the extra :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: - may this be your week too!

QOTD - screen name - when I "found" WISH - ohMom and I were just committing to losing and planning family trip to WDW and I was committed to losing weight so I would not be the "fat" lady in the pix. I was excited to be planning the trip, going with family, etc - thus Alreadyexcitedgrammy - now being unfamilar with posting and chatting - I soon realized a long name was not the way to go - but was dubbed AEG quickly by the "pros" on the boards so jsut never even thought about changing name then - it still is a reminder that I DID lose the weight - had a great time and my WISH friends such GREAT SUPPORT :flower3:

Okay - it's off to lift some weights and watch the end of the BL - I am anxious to see how this week finishes up so we can chat !

This is going to be a hard week. My knee is so sore I left step class only after 30 min. I am going to try just walking tonight and then pilates. I can't imagine not doing anything!!!! I am also trying to fight off a cold.. yuck.

And, that's how I'm trying to do things differently this time around. I'm going to be 50 this summer and if I don't start taking care of "my house" now it's going to start tumbling down. Why is it I have taken better care of my home than me? I am learning that I need to take care of me first and the then the other things can fall into place.

I have been doing pretty good, just thinking alot of potato chips and mcDonalds. I haven't gone, I won't go, I still have 2 weeks to go for my 30 days. The struggle is what to do after the 30 days. I think I have decided to keep avoiding it until we are out as a family and need to stop somewhere quick. I talked about this with DH last night, and he said for example when we go on vacation this summer and are driving down the road, then would be an OK time for Mcdonalds. I don't want to get into eating it again, but I don't also want to say "I can never have it again either" Why is this such a struggle?:confused3 I swear they put something in their fries thats addicting!:rotfl:

I was down 1 pound for the week and am back in the 170s.
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I plan on including this on next weeks because it was late.

I am home from work today because I am hacking my head off and have a runny nose. I do not feel to bad, but I am taking it easy today. I worked over 20 hours between Tuesday and Wednesday, :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 so I am taking it easy today. Hence the reason I have not posted before now. I also am working Friday and Saturday.

My screen name is the first two letter of my first middle and last name. Rebecca Ann Sta... I use this for email addresses and other things.

Congrats buddy CharityLynn on getting under 200 pounds :banana::banana::banana::banana:

YAY Buddy! I can't wait to see the 170s myself! I'd say save a spot for me but you'll be way beyond that by the time I get there.:rotfl2:

I too am sick.:sick: I'm hoping just a cold, my kids don't have school tomorrow so i won't be getting any rest. I do believe I have some chicken noodle soup and that is probably what I'll be having for dinner tonight.

How does everyone handle eating and exercise when they are sick?
 
Hi, everyone. I am late this week, but I was down .8 pound on Tuesday and my week is going very well, so I hope for good results next week, too!

Oh McDonald's fries are a very hard to resisit. I think the key is to limit yourself to the small serving and to eat them slowly. Depending on your plan, you can fit them in (the small is 250 calories, nearly has much and the "healthy" fruit and walnut salad) paired with a side salad w/ low fat dressing it can be a not too bad lunch. And you are right you don't want to make it too forbidden or the temptation will grow too much and the next thing you know you will be in the drive through ordering a Super Size and scarffing them down w/o even really enjoying them.

I don't doubt one bit that we WILL be seeing your name up there in that top 10 list in the coming weeks so why should you doubt that. I know making that top 10 is one of the things driving me - and the desire to make that Number 1 spot one of these weeks :)

YOu are so right! That is why I have been struggling, trying to balance the desire and smart choices!
