congrats to the Top 10 !!! and especially to my buddy Raenstoirm - WOOHOO - let me tell ya - she has been working hers buns off - so there is something to the working "it" - big numbers down - down - down!

Me - I voted Roger not because I "like" Mark just that I think Roger could lose more - Ali is my first choice but she has less to lose than Kelly ........... AMAZING numbers those girls had this week - NEVER UNDERESTIMATE A WOMAN :thumbsup2 - got those guys - didn't they :yay:

I really hope that Ali gets some kind of endorsement - she is looking FAB and really not much more to lose, especially if TV makes you look 10 lbs heavier

Donac - I say sneak your vote in on the last day to vote after DS2 has left for school and then "mums" the word :rolleyes1

i thought i'd post one last challenge, Friday - Monday just for a boost for our last weekend. No point to track as BL 4 is over Tuesday; but for those who like something to keep focused!



  1. * Journal every bite you eat!!

    * Drink at least 64 oz of water each day

    * Get your recommended amount of fiber each day

    Women
    25 grams per day, for women younger than 50
    21 grams per day, for women older than 50

    Men
    38 grams per day, for men younger than 50
    30 grams per day, for men older than 50​

    * Exercise a minimum of 30 mins each day

    * Take time to stretch after your workout

    * Set aside time just for you, pamper yourself

    * Set aside time to enjoy your hobby

    * Start a journal, begin with the past 15 weeks and how it's affected you

That's alot but for me is the foundation of my healthy lifestyle ::yes:: pick whatever you choose and then share with the group what you stuck to over our last weekend, which I think we all agree weekends are the hardest!!
 
Good FRIDAY Morning. It feels good to say Friday. The only thing I have to do this weekend is the taxes. (Yes I know they are due on Tuesday I always wait this long to do them.) I plan to work on them tonight and get them finished on Sat. This is a pretty quiet weekend. Nothing tonight and Sat. Sun is usual church, then this is my week to work at the nursing home giving communion, grocery shop and Sun night go to someone's house to see the premier of the DVD of Beauty and the Beast. All the cast and crew get together and watch what they did for the first time. It is usually a fun night.

Ds2 and I promised to bring brownies for SUnday night. I might let him make them. He and ds1 made cupcakes and brownie cupcakes for a bake sale at ds2's school. I was a little concerned about it until they said to me "I'm (ds1) graduating college, he (ds2) is going to study engineering and we both have our cooking merit badges from scouts. We should be fine" The food came out great. Ds2 said all his stuff was sold.

I will be checking with the other members of the steering committee for BL4 about what is going on next week and we will get back to you. I will be staying on to help start the threads each week.

I have to do taxes this weekend too. I gave up being frustrated that I didn't get them done early long ago. Could I have done them weeks ago? Of course. Will they be hard? Of course not. Our life is simple enough that I'll bang it out in an hour or two. I just haven't done them. :sad2: Hope yours go well!
 

:cheer2: YIPPEE!!! :cheer2: I didn't get a chance to get online yesterday, so I was sitting here secretly DISing at work... when low and behold I see that I'm NUMBER 2!! :cheer2: I was proud of my loss this week and hoping to make the top ten, but I didn't expect to be #2!! :thumbsup2

Congratulations to all of the top ten!!

I am hoping that I can pull a good number again this next and final weigh in. I have been weighing everyday though and the scale is NOT being kind :sad2: I have only gotten two workouts in so far this week, which is probably a big part of that.

Thanks for the weekend challenge Ohmom. I have been flaking on the previous challenges, but the weekend one gives me some good motivation toward this last weigh in.

Anyway here is the magical juice straight from the internet. :lmao: What an intro but it's been a life saver for one of my friends. She has always been severely anemic. You know a dirt eating child at one point. Pica? Is that what it's called. She eats well. Took all those constipating little pills. Iron. Iron. Iron. And nothing. This juice has changed her life. I take it once in awhile. I'm low normal. It tastes and smells, hmmm, shall I say interesting. Why yes I shall. So don't yell at me if you buy it. I warned ya.

BTW, today was so crazy, and I had NO time to make lunch, and I KNEW I had to eat something, sooo....I stopped at Wendy's and got a small chili. And it was good. I'd already checked the nutrition info and knew it was ok for me. It worked out very well, even though back home, in the crock pot, cooking up for dinner tonite was, yup, you guessed it, chili!!! Hey, they were light years apart, so it barely seemed like the same thing!
 
Walked again today with DD. Did a nice brisk pace and did 2 miles. Not a lot to most people but great for me and my knees:goodvibes . I am sad that this is almost over but looking forward to going until Memorial Day. Hope you all have a great weekend. :goodvibes

Thanks for much for all you do for BL4. I may not reply to your individual posts, but I do enjoy reading them. Our taxes pretty much done, DH does them, we owe so we are waiting until the deadline to send. (not happy).

Just had my last weigh in for the challange and after ups and downs I am down a total of 3.2 for the challange. I am almost ashamed to post this. 15 weeks and only 3 pounds.

I've followed your WISH posts. I know how successful you've been. And just like Wendy said that's 3 pounds down. Also, if my memory is serving me correct aren't you at a close point to goal? If so, everyone knows that every pound is an absolute struggle and huge accomplishment at that point. It's a whole different ball game.

Well the weather man was wrong. Ended up being almost 70. So we went for a bile ride on the beach then I mowed the yard. I hope to see the scale go down this week!!!!!

Thank you guys. I know any loss is better than a gain but it is just so frustrating. I have 20 pounds to go, so close but yet so far ya know? I am deffienetly going to keep working hard at reaching my goals, even if it is taking a bit longer than expected.
