Good Tuesday Morning I haven't weighed in yet. I have gotten in some exercise this morning but it is going to be quiet in a little while so I may get in some more and then I will weigh in.

Don't forget the following from Brenda (dare2dream)
Please report your weight using the number of pounds ie xxx pounds
If you would like to add your change for the week that is OK ie I lost 2 pounds. Remember weights can be reported in 1/10 of pound increments ie xxx.x pounds.

Please report by midnight Tuesday
If you are late report as soon as you remember. I know sometimes RL (real life) is more important.

Please PM or email your weekly report to Brenda (dare2dream) I am not much of a contributor on our weekly thread but I do read every post. I think Tuesdays are great when everyone checks in to report their weekly progress. It helps to keep us all accountable and it's fun to share your success. Last week I noticed several reports from people I never got a PM or email from. I went through the entire thread and checked. 8 people reported their progress here but never reported to me.

Now folks, help out a weight keeper here please!! Please report your weekly weight to Brenda by PM or email to brenda@kbelectric.biz. Remember to report by midnight Tuesday and remember to report in pounds ie xxx pounds (not just I lost x pounds). PrettyPlease!!

I can't believe we only have 3 weeks left. Let's make them the best yet.

Have a magical losing daypixiedust: pixiedust:

Good morning everyone.

Hope you all had a good Easter, and reading on the other thread, looks like many of you were busy. Dona, you do so much, and I can't imagine how long it takes to make 250 raviolis!! I was good with the meal on Easter, and just took small portions, but dessert came and I indulged in a couple whipped cream desserts that we don't have very often. The night before I did an extra 45 min of exercise, knowing I would be eating. I'm bringing all the extra candy to work today. We do an egg hunt with the chocolate eggs, and my son loved to find them, but doesn't eat them, so that leaves them to me, and I love chocolate.

I am down .4 this week after a gain last week, so I'm happy. I go to disney a week from tomorrow, and am going to have a very good on track week pre vacation. The holiday is over, and it's time to buckle down. Only 3 weeks left of this challenge, it's hard to belive.

Have a wondeful, losing day!! We can do this!!

Good job on your loss this week, buddy! I am down 2.8 this week. :)

I'm a maintain this week. With DH's birthday Saturday, Easter on Sunday and my birthday yesterday I just enjoyed a few too many treats.

Congrats to all the losers. To the gainers and maintainers - thank you for staying commited and checking in. We can do this and join the losers next week!

i was very pleased with all that has been going on for my family, Easter meal, and missing a few workouts I was down .8 lbs today. i'm dressed and ready to go workout after i take DD to school and start resuming my regular routine ::yes::

I'm in a BL challenge at our local Y and I have to WI my final one this weekend so that's keeping me focused!

we too have lots of candy here but my girls take it to their room and that's fine with me :teeth:

Good Morning!

Well I am up .5 this week. I am on restricted exercise by my physical therapist for 6 weeks so I am pretty much just doing the physical therapy exercises which is not much. This week on days that I do not have pt I am going to do the WTP video and some ab work. Hopefully those will help me stay on track. They seem to think something else is going on with my knee other than a strained hamstring. Ugh! It is so fustrating.

Congrats to all of the losers! And for those of us that gained and maintained hang in there. Keep your head held high! WE CAN DO THIS!

Have a great day everyone!

Michele

Michelle. I am in the same place as you. I am up .5 which I consider a victory with the holiday and being on vacation. I was able to get in 50 minutes of exercise this morning.

We don't have a lot of candy around and what is around I am saving for my AP classes. I should go out to the sales and get some more today. I give my AP kids a bag with some candy and 2 sharp pencils. For my 2nd year kids I also give them a pencil sharpener and 4 new batteries for their calculators.

I start the raviolis this afternoon. I will give the recipe some time this week. It is an old family recipe from my father's mother, who was from Italy.

Congrats to all the losers this week. ONly 3 more weeks and we can do this.

Down .8. Not bad given that I did allow myself to splurge over the weekend. Although yesterday was not good, so i am uncertain about this week!

Oh, but I did do something interesting. On Friday, I joined a real world BL held by a local nutritionists office. Money is awarded to 1, 2, and 3 biggest losers and to the person who loses the most inches which cant be one of the other three. There is a one time fee to join and then there is a "class" once a week for 12 weeks. The kicker is, if you gain weight, you have to pay that amount. I don't plan on winning (I am not pessimistic, the winner last year lost 100lbs :scared1: and I don't have that much to lose to begin with!), but I am hoping the accountability and classes help. The program wraps up on July 1, so i wont be able to attend the winners ceremony (I will be on vacation that week), but that adds incentive since I will be donning a bathing suit that week.

I'm down 2 this week. Happy about that. Congratulations to all of us for seeing this through.

I can't believe we are only three weeks away. Yikes. I feel some apprehension about that. But very thankful.

I've seen many movies this weekend. We had an AMC open up here downtown and they are running free movies for four days. I'm taking advantage of it. It's been nice. Last day today. Smart promotion.

Family tradtions. I never posted. Though I have loved reading about all of yours. Some pf ours have come and gone. Others, thank goodness, have lingered. I'll go with Christmas. Christmas, like another posted, we open presents one by one no longer how long that takes. So everyone can see. We used to get a huge apple and orange in our stockings. If I was blessed with children I'd extend that one for sure. I host an annual Christmas movie day here. They all come the weekend before Christmas and we walk to the theatre and come back for a big dinner. We all usually complete a Christmas village if it's not done.

I honestly never knew what such a simple day meant until the year we were in WDW before Christmas and couldn't seem to fit it in. I got a call from one of my nieces and she told me that she wasn't thrilled that we all couldn't get a date together. Because this was tradition and meant the world to her. She was twelve at that time! Good for her! So we made it happen and have never left it out since. Never had the thought. ;) She's twenty now. We sometimes forget what traditions mean to them....to everyone.

Have a good day everyone,

Lisa

That's great. Good luck with that Raenstoirm.

I am down 2 lbs. Not as much as I would like, but with the desserts I ate Sunday I will take it.

Good luck every one and hang in there.

After this is over do we start another? The support here is wonderful.

Well, I have NO idea where it came from--I wasn't able to exercise from last Wednesday until today--but I somehow managed to lose 4.8 pounds this week! Maybe the scale gods have smiled on me becuase I resisted temptation on Easter?:rotfl: Yeah, right, sure.... In any event, I'll TAKE IT!!

Congrats to all the losers this week. For those who gained/maintained, well, it WAS a holiday weekend...just climb back on the wagon and make this coming week a real losing week!

In 12 weeks?!?!?!? It took me longer than that to lose 100 pounds after gastric bypass, and I was starting at 486!!! I'll bet money it was a GUY--those lucky bums lose sooooo fast!! Well, good for you for signing up! It sounds pretty cool. Hope you make some $$$$$.

I went back to the gym today and did 30 minutes on the elliptical. No problems with my knee. :thumbsup2 Now I am being a good girl and sitting in my recliner with ice on my knee. Just doing what I can to allow my body to exercise! Amazing--in the past, I would have rejoiced at a valid excuse not to exercise. Now, I've been chomping at the bit, wanting to get back to the gym!

Have a losing day everyone!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!:cheer2:

Big gain for me the last couple of weeks. Family issues keep popping up and I can't seem to get it together with my food intake and exercise.

I now have a calendar posted in our kitchen that I am writing my exercise schedule on as well as posting my weight, so the whole world can see. (That's a scary thing.) So hopefully this will help, at least with the day to day challenges. Who knows what will happen if, Heaven forbid, we have another death in the family or medical emergency. I'm not equipped for crisis right now!:rotfl2:

Way to go to all the "losers". Hoping, with the three weeks left, I can at least post a small loss overall.

I'm so happy, I stayed the same. Now that sounds odd to celebrate, but I had such a large loss last week, Easter sweets everywhere, and its that time of month, I figured I would be up today. So although it is less than 10lbs for the whole challenge time (sigh), I figured it must be real weight loss, those pounds are gone for good.

Hi everyone,

How is everyone feeling about the end of the BL? I'm finding it's bringing some issues up for me. Anyone else?
