Good Tuesday morning I hope it is a losing day for you. I am down 2.5 pounds this week

Don't forget the following from Brenda (dare2dream)
Please report your weight using the number of pounds ie xxx pounds
If you would like to add your change for the week that is OK ie I lost 2 pounds. Remember weights can be reported in 1/10 of pound increments ie xxx.x pounds.

Please report by midnight Tuesday
If you are late report as soon as you remember. I know sometimes RL (real life) is more important.

Please PM or email your weekly report to Brenda (dare2dream) I am not much of a contributor on our weekly thread but I do read every post. I think Tuesdays are great when everyone checks in to report their weekly progress. It helps to keep us all accountable and it's fun to share your success. Last week I noticed several reports from people I never got a PM or email from. I went through the entire thread and checked. 8 people reported their progress here but never reported to me.

Now folks, help out a weight keeper here please!! Please report your weekly weight to Brenda by PM or email to brenda@kbelectric.biz. Remember to report by midnight Tuesday and remember to report in pounds ie xxx pounds (not just I lost x pounds). PrettyPlease!!

Have a Magical Losing Day pixiedust: pixiedust:

Hi everyone - Even though I'm not officially part of the challenge - I've adopted you all! LOL

I'm down 1.4 since Friday. Its a start - YEAH! Breakfast so far on track and I've got homemade chilli for lunch. Bring on the day!!

Hello, everyone.

Once again I've been MIA for a while, and now am hoping you will take me back.:sad2:

I've gotten nowhere in this challenge so far, a far cry from how well I did in the fall. I've had many ups and downs in life, as we all have, and keep wondering, why can't I stay motivated for more than a day or two?
Well, I've come to the conclusion it's because I haven't checked in here everyday. So that is my goal for this week - to check the boards and actually post once a day - and we will see where that takes me in terms of my mental commitment.

Also, I haven't seen Annette around or heard from her. Annette - are you out there still? I'm still up for being buddies if you are.

If not, I would love it if anyone wants to take on a new buddy. I could really use the support. But I warn you, I may be "needy" for a while til I get my focus back!;)

So with all that said, last week I was down a pound and this week 1.6.

Thanks everyone!
Laura

mel -- you are welcome to officially join if you want too!!

Good morning everyone! After gaining the past two weeks I'm happy to report a loss this morning. I'm down 1.5 from last week. Still need to lose a pound to get back to my lowest point in the challenge but I'm happy with this weeks loss.

Congrats to all the losers this week! To those who have maintained or gained today is a new day and you can do it because you are worth it!

Good Morning!

Well I am down again this week! 2 weeks in a row :cool1: I lost 2.5 this week!

I am going to Disney in December so I am setting a goal to lose 60 lbs by then. I signed up to do the March of Dimes March for Babies and can not wait for spring so I can get out and start walking and playing tennis again.

Congrats to everyone that lost! Hang in there to all of your maintainers and gainers. Remember this is a process and we will all have our ups and downs but if we stick with it, it will all be worth it in the end!

Hey Geekerbell! Welcome back Sistah! I'm here for ya if you need a buddy. Heck we're all here for you! After all we are Sistahs! Hang in there. You can do this and you are worth it!

Hi to my buddy Sue! Hope your WI goes well today.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Michele

Good morning everyone! I am down 1 this week. I kind of tailed off on my tracking the last few days and really need to make sure I'm doing it. I know that I did okay the last 2 days calories-wise, but I also found myself feeling a little more lax in choices than I should have been. Gotta get it back together cause I'm not going above 200 again!

Good luck with the weigh-ins today everyone! I hope to see lots of loses, but even if you don't please post and remember...just keep swimming.

Welcome, Melanie! Glad to have you along.
Welcome back, Laura! If you want any more buddies, I'd be happy to chat with you too.

Happy Tuesday!

Good job every one. I hate to break the losing trend but I am up 1.5. Ugh. I have to get better at this.

Congratulations to all of you losers!! :cool1: You are doing awesome!!

:grouphug: Hugs to those who have gained or maintained. This takes time and patience. Hang in there and never give up and you'll see a loss soon.

I'm down .8 this week after a gain last week. It's funny how the way you look at things can change your frame of mind. I started this challenge at 191.8, and today am 185.2. My goal was to get below 180, but it seems to be taking forever, so I'm going to change my thinking, and start looking at my goal in 5 pound increments. I got below 190, and now I just want to be below 185, and stay there. I may go up and down a few pounds, but if I set that smaller goal, it seems less daunting. I also think, once I get below 185, then it will be easier to not ever go back to 190.

I have been eating too much snack foods, even though I stay in my points, I think my loss would be better with better fuel for my body. So, I'm going to eat better, and the healthy snacks that I send my son to school with will also be my healthy snacks.

Keep up the great work everyone!!:cheer2: We can do this!!

Happy to be in a new decade, down 2.8,

Congrats to everyone for sticking with the biggest loser!!!!

I am happy to report a loss this week. I'm really excited because if any one is keeping track i went way above 300 when i was gaining but i am offically back under and on my way to less. I have .2 to lose and i will be back to the weight i was at my lowest wieght during the challenge so offically i lost 5.4 this week. I am so excited if only i exercised more what would it be?:confused3

Will chat more this afternoon after work.

Amanda

Well I maintained this week. I am very excited though because I had one of "those" weeks. I didn't track at all to speak of and was afraid of a gain so a maintain works for me. This week however I am determined to make up for a slacker week!!

Congratulations to all the "losers"!! And to us maintainers or gainers - well just keep working at it we will ultimately win if we don't quit.

My "official" weigh in yesterday morning was a maintain, but I got on the scale this morning and I am down 1 lb from yesterday. Must be a salt problem. I am still going to keep the maintain as my weight for this week though, since yesterday was my weigh in day, not today. I really hope the loss this morning is real and not just water weight or something, since it would really give my a pep for the week to already be down one!

I'm down 1.2 this week. Happy with that.

Congratulations to all the WISHers that are still here. And a :yay: to Mel and Laura.

Lisa

Yup. I am still lurking around. I haven't lost any weight in about 3 weeks, but I haven't really been trying either. I feel blah. I cannot wait for the weather to change. I have seasonal depression disorder and this long MI winter is making me crazy. I just want to go for a walk outside but the weather is not cooperating.

Annette

Annette - So good to "see" you! I understand the depression. Try to stay strong. And spring will be here soon!:goodvibes
(Also, I did PM you.)

Suggestion – print out the task list and keep it handy to mark off each time you complete one for easy and accurate record

I hope you all enjoyed the first challenges and incorporating some new healthy habits into your routine :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'm down 0.7. Not much, since I just went back on the "water pill" yesterday after being off for 2 weeks--I tried, but I swelled right up again. But i was praying for at least a 0.1# loss "for the team"!!

Net loss for the past 2 weeks is 0.3#, but I finally found my measuring tape and took my measurements this AM, and my waist is a few inches smaller than it was at Canyon Ranch!!:thumbsup2

I LOVE the challenge for this week--some are easy and I already do them, but some will be a challenge for me and that's a good thing!!

Congrats to the losers, hang in there if you've gained or maintained. We CAN do this!!!!!:cheer2:
