Biggest Loser 11 Spring Team Challenge--for Losers and Maintainers

Pjilla How far are you from Dover? We're heading down Friday night and will be there all weekend. The boys are bowling in the state bowling tournament.

Deb--Sending you a hug. Have you heard about the new study linking add/adhd and food dyes? The fda is looking into it this week. Just a thought. I am a firm believer that everything we put in our bodies effects us in one way or another. I hope everything is ok with Hunter.

QOTD 3/25/11 Saturday
Let's talk about the dreaded F words- Fast Food! How do you cope with dinner on the run, do you have a favorite not so bad for you place to go or a favorite lower calorie choice at the not so good for you place? Do you try to avoid these places altogether?
We used to eat a lot of fast food. McDs and Little Caesars especially. Then I went vegetarian and we cut back. Then I started eating healthier and we cut back some more. I can't tell you the last time we have had either one. G-F and Vegetarian makes it pretty difficult to eat most fast food. I do have Moe's about once a week--but it's pretty healthy--given what I put on my naked burrito.

Having said all that, I have learned to be ready for stressful days. We almost always either have leftovers or g-f Amy's bowls in the freezer. If we are traveling I plan ahead and take food along and if we are running a lot of errands I usually take food along. In an emergency I will eat a Snickers or peanut mms. Not great, but at least they have a little protein.

My favorite snacks are Lara bars, nut crisps, string cheese, fruit, hummus, nuts and hardboiled eggs. We almost always have hardboiled eggs in the fridge now, too. So, we usually have something we can throw together at the last minute, since most fast food just isn't an option. A last minute dinner might be an egg, some hummus, whatever fresh fruit and veggies we have around, some goat cheese and some scoops.

It's snowing. I cannot believe it. It was 80 just a few days ago! I am SOOOOOO over this weather. It is really starting to get old! Have a great Saturday.:goodvibes

Hi, This is my first post and i would like to join the spring challange.

hi lindsay - i didn't know that's what you do. working in a ped's office sounds like it would be really fun but also VERY challenging!

also, i'm going to be looking for you for the only-child-with-two-kids experience :)

You can ask me questions or advice anytime. I will say that I deal with my boys better than my mom.:lmao: I now know why she only had one child. I am a firm believer that god does not give you more than you can handle. Im sure once you are past the shock and disbelief you will amaze yourself at how perfect everything feels. We planned #2 and I still felt uneasy/upset/nervous etc for months into the pregnancy. It is the fear of the unknown.

Glad you had a nice night out. Dont worry about the cheese sticks. Great job for getting back on plan today.

Good morning! Today's question is inspired from my hectic dinner last night.

I have a huge problem with FF. Partially it is due to planning ahead. I am not consistently good at this. and the other part is due to the fact that we have just about every FF resturaunt you can think of right around the corner. We really have cut back on the amount of times we go there but I still can not get off of FF breakfast in the morning. I am working on it.

My on plan FF place is definitely subway!!!

Hope everyone who has an injury gets over it soon. I have dealt with PF several times. I happen to be on my third set of bone spurs in my feet. I was also diagnosed in Jan with torn meniscus, torn cartiledge, arthritis and a bone spur all in the same spot in my left knee.(My comment to myself was "Anything else?") Things have calmed down with that for now. Every now and then I will be in pain but it is not as bad as it was in November when I had my first flare up

Im glad to hear that your knee is better dona. I hope you have a great and quiet weekend.

DD's swim event at Harvard went well last night. I think their 400 free relay even placed in the top 10! It was a VERY LONG night. Swimming started at 6:30 pm. DD's final event didn't go off until about 9:30pm. We waited til her friends were done swimming and then we all walked to Harvard Square for burritos (the swimmers were starving) at 11pm!! Then, of course, I took a wrong turn on the way home and drove around for 45 minutes until I found the highway!! I was pretty dang aggravated. We made it home at 2:25... and I think DD and I were both asleep by 2:30!! Tough drive for me, not being a night owl!!

Wow that was one long evening. It sounded like fun minus the getting lost. I hope you catch up on your ZZZZ's today. Glad to hear your dh is doing well I have been thinking about him too.

In any event I am still keeping up with these threads as It is my lifeline to not totally going off the deep end and gaining back everything I lost years ago.

Deb you are doing a great job holding it all together. You are in my prayers. I hope the right job comes before you soon and that everything is ok with hunter.

feeling a little nauseous today. not bad though. i'm really feeling tired. funny though - i'm awake at the computer, DS is having a snack and DH has been napping for the last TWO HOURS! men!

Somehow my dh always gets a wkend nap too. I just dont get it. Men!!!!!

So how is everyone's Saturday going? We ended up going to the movies as a family.

Your movie trip sounded fun and I hope you can make it for game time tonight. I would be asleep already.

It's snowing. I cannot believe it. It was 80 just a few days ago! I am SOOOOOO over this weather. It is really starting to get old! Have a great Saturday.:goodvibes

This weather is just crazy. I am so over it too. How did your run go?????

Well I had a really bad day with eating and dont even want to embarass myself by disclosing what I ate. Lets just say it involved no plan and fast food. I had to laugh when I read the QOTD.

I am disappointed in myself with my eating and weight loss over the past few months. I really need to get on plan for good.

We had a busy day and now I am going to get my kiddos to bed. I hope everyone is enjoying there weekend. I would type more but dh is cleaning up around me and huffing and puffing about it so I guess cinderella needs to get to work.:rotfl2:

Hi, This is my first post and i would like to join the spring challange.

Welcome!:goodvibes For the purposes of book keeping you will be on Team Donald. Please pm (after you get 10 posts:)) your starting weight to tigger813 ALONG WITH YOUR TEAM NAME. Our normal weigh in day is Friday, but you can go ahead and send in your starting weight and if you have a goal for the next 8 weeks (ex, I'd like to lose 10 lbs.) you can include that as well. Each week on sometime between Friday and Sunday you can them pm your weight for the week to tigger813, again along with your team name.:goodvibes

Read the first page of this thread for an idea of how the challenge works. We are now all on one thread--we have merged the two teams. Please let us know if you have any questions, and you are welcome to introduce yourself if you would like.:goodvibes

Where on the jersey shore are you? I am guessing around Red Bank because of the vet hospital you described. I live in West Long Branch and someone else on team Donald is in Lincroft.

Haha YES I work in Red Bank!!!!!!!!! I went to Red Bank Catholic and live in Holdmel. Yay Jersey Shore represent!! (The real Jersey Shore, not MTVs version.) That's crazy!! What a small world!!

This merge is a lot of fun getting to meet all these new people. It feels like we are really on TBL episode from two weeks ago where the two teams combined to be Blue!!

/
:wave2: This smilie has way more energy than I do. I am exhausted.
Our Swim Team Open House went very well and we had a great turnout. This was the first year we had done it this way and it was a success! God Bless our new Manager that put it all together.

Then DH suggested we go out for lunch--wasn't sure if that was a good or bad suggestion. I hate it when we play "Where do you want to go?", "I don't know, where do you want to go?", while the kids are also going "I want a hamburger", "I want Mexican food". :headache: We ended up at Chilis and I had a $10 GC. I had a great salad-- well half of it, then the other half for dinner. It was much better at lunch!

We got home with enough time for me to go to the bathroom and refill my water bottle then head out to the school carnival with DD11 and her friend. They had a great time but we spent over 3 hours there! I followed them from room to room and my feet are killing me. Even sitting every time we stopped wasn't enough and I am worn out. I splurged on a little popcorn and DD bought me a Diet Pepsi (I think that is my 3rd soda for the year) I also won a pack of grape nerds playing Plinko so I just had those a few minutes ago.

I think I am going to go and crash on the couch in front of the TV and have someone wake me up when it is time to go to bed!

Can't do a whole lot of responses tonight but I did want to do these.

I am a fast food lover. Heck I just love any food that I don't have to cook and clean up after!:yay: I probably get something fast food once or twice a week for lunch or dinner. My mantra has been I can find something to eat anywhere we go-- except Taco Bell! Which is a bummer because we love Taco Bell but there is just nothing I would want to even try to eat there that would be on program for me. I actually avoid Subway because of the bread. I had it a month or so ago and got a flatbread and then proceeded to take the whole thing apart and load the insides onto one tiny piece of the bread to keep the carbs low. I also had a flat bread at Tropical Smoothie this week and did the same thing. Cut off most of the bread and loaded the insides onto what was left. The amazing thing is that the bread really hides the great flavors inside so I like it better that way.

We love Chick-fil-a (DH would live there if he could!) so I just eat the Chicken Filet plain or with the bottom half of the bun sort of open faced. Generally when we go somewhere I try to get a salad with grilled chicken or a grilled chicken sandwich and remove most of the bread. I like to get baked potato at Wendy's. If I am picking and there is one nearby, then Wendy's is usually my choice. I also like their new Asiago Ranch Chicken Club. I get it with a knife and fork and remove the bread and eat it without-- very yummy.

We don't go to Hardees or Burger King, and haven't been to KFC in years. Generally we stick to CFA or McD or Wendy's if we need something fast. I do try to pack snacks like cheese and crackers and peanuts and yogurt or some veggies when I know I will be out so I can just grab that instead.

Friday QOTD: My name is Deb. . I lost 50 lbs in 4 months on Atkins and felt terrific. Atkins is a great short term plan, but you cannot safely live on it.
This challenge has been very difficult for me.. . . the company was bought out which resulted in layoffs and I was one of those unlucky people that got laid off. We've also been dealing with some health issues with our boys. In any event I am still keeping up with these threads as It is my lifeline to not totally going off the deep end and gaining back everything I lost years ago.

Wow, what a lot on your plate. As we keep saying on our Donald thread "just keep swimming" and it sounds like your are.

Have you tried South Beach diet plan? I ask because I did Atkins when it came out and like you realized it was just not healthy to live on. I was really thrilled with SB when my dr recommended it. It is much healthier and easier to live with.

Hmmmmmmm, I swear that I had another post or two quoted but they aren't showing up and I am too tired to go back and look so much love to you all and see you tomorrow in between loads of :laundy:

Busy day for us. Hunter was in the school play this year. They did Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Hunter was James, one of Charlie's school friends as well as a squirrel (the play has squirrels instead of geese). There was a performance for the school yesterday and public performances last night, this afternoon and tonight. They were also having a bake sale during intermission to help fund the performances. I made 2 dozen cupcakes on Thursday for it. I was busy with Lacrosse yesterday so I couldn't see it or help out. My parents and my great aunt and uncle went last night. They raved about how good it was. Today when I dropped Hunter off I went in and offered to help. I ended up doing hair and makeup for the first performance then realized that we would have no food for tonight's intermission so I came home and baked for 3 1/2 hours. I made chocolate cupcakes, whole wheat raspberry flavored cupcakes both with a raspberry flavored homemade frosting as well as brownies in mini muffin tins with the same frosting. I bought those in for the evening performance and helped again with hair and makeup before sitting down to enjoy the show. They did a fantastic job :cool1:

Hi everyone My name is Ann, I am from Team Mickey. I am a proud Nana to 2 beautiful grandchildren, Melody and DJ (David Justice). I work a full time job during the day. I also work twice a week as a receptionist at a local dance studio. Just try being around all the tiny Size 1 girls. Talk about motivation. Absolutely love them all as though they are my second family. Also my DH Mark who is supporting my journey for weight loss. Also adopted mom to my black lab, mini schnauzer, orange tabby and orange marmalade kitty. After looking at a photo of myself with my newborn grandson last Sept then I had my BP taken it was out of control I decided to take control of my life

I must be doing something right as I am down 48 lbs. No weight watchers , no fad diets. I do try to think a bit more about snacks and our meals. I do Tae Bo each morning and each evening every single day. I only missed a couple of times since I made up my mind. Looking for the the weather breaking so I can takes a walk each night. Looking forward to meeting everyone from Team Donald. :thumbsup2

Whoa I'm overwhelmed on here :goodvibes I've been away awhile again. It's hard to keep up on posts. Wish I had more time to come on daily - it help keep me focused too!!

I had a good loss from last week - 3 pounds :cool1: I did go up a tad last week so taht made it easier :lmao:. I did great on my workouts but not great on the food - good enough I guess!

So I'm Karen. Just stared getting back on track in January. I've always been a bit bigger than average growing up but gained most my weight in college. Having the PIzza Hut right behind the dorm did not help! I did Jenny Craig in my last yr of college and got down to 145/150 which was super skinny on my frame. I've been up and down most of my adult life. I got up to 191 after the holidays. I normally weigh myself close to everyday - not to be obsessive but just to keep a visual on things. Well I stopped weighing last fall and a see where that got me!

I've lost 14 pounds so far on this challange. I have about 7-12 more to go, I'll see how I feel when I get there. I have a Disney trip in 72 days so need ot get my rear in gear  I do well 1 or 2 weeks then fall off the wagon and then practically get run over by the wagon during that TOM :rotfl2: So it's slow and steady but that's ok - the numbers are movig in the right direction. I just can't seem to have a perfect day with no extra snacking. Way too hard w/ 2 kids. I alwys manage 1 bite of this or that or 1 chip from what they are eating. I try to journal my food and that helps. I start off well but my late afternoon - ugh!

So anyway. Hope to get on here more!

QOTD: I try to know what is the safest option to get when I go. I've looked up menus on my i-phone before if I get stuck going out. Tonight DH really wanted to go out to dinner and the kids picked Rock Fish seafood. There are many decent choices w/ seafood thank goodness. SO I went online and discovered they have a light menu and I made my choice before going. When there they did not offer the menu but you had to request it - which I'll be emailing corporate about my opinion on that. So just know where you usually dine and have a selection made based on the online nutrition info before you go.

It's snowing. I cannot believe it. It was 80 just a few days ago! I am SOOOOOO over this weather. It is really starting to get old! Have a great Saturday.:goodvibes
Very, very old. Sorry you had snow, but I know your pain. The cold is a little easier to take with the sun shining. How did your run go?

Hi, This is my first post and i would like to join the spring challange.
Welcome to the BL challenge!! We'd love for you to tell us a little about yourself when you have time.

Well I had a really bad day with eating and dont even want to embarass myself by disclosing what I ate. Lets just say it involved no plan and fast food. I had to laugh when I read the QOTD.

How are you doing cinderella?:lmao: You're so funny. Hope you helped dh so the huffing and puffing stopped. ;) Bummer on the bad day, but today is a new day, and a fresh start. I've been the same way since the princess, pretty much maintaining, up and down with the same few pounds, but I just haven't been able to stay focused for any length of time. I think the merger of teams is a good time to recommit and get our focus back, and get on the losing train again. I am so inspired by the numbers so many have posted of their losses. We can do this too.

This merge is a lot of fun getting to meet all these new people. It feels like we are really on TBL episode from two weeks ago where the two teams combined to be Blue!!
That's so true. Here we go!! No game playing though.;)

: We ended up at Chilis and I had a $10 GC. I had a great salad-- well half of it, then the other half for dinner. It was much better at lunch!
:
You are doing so well. I would have eaten the whole thing for lunch, because salads don't taste so well as leftovers. Keep it up!! :thumbsup2

He is just adorable, Deb. I bet that was a really fun play for them to put on. Sending prayers your way for all that you have going on in your life right now.

Congrats on your loss. Doesn't it feel great when it clicks, you do the right things and see results.

Whoa I'm overwhelmed on here :goodvibes I've been away awhile again. It's hard to keep up on posts. Wish I had more time to come on daily - it help keep me focused too!!
It is overwhelming when the thread is busy, but don't worry if you can't keep up with everyone, pop in and post and let us know how you're doing when you can and read when you have time. There is always some helpful hints here. I will settle down a bit too, especially as spring comes and the warm weather with it. Congrats on your loss. 14 pounds is awesome.

I've done the WDW Marathon, DL Half and WDW Half few years ago (WDW Marathon and DL Half in 2009 and WDW Half 2010). I got lazy last year and didn't run or do anything. This year I am going to be training for The Dopey.
Though I really hate running, its fun to have a race to run for and the medals (and t-shirts).
Congrats on your races so far, and for training for the Dopey. That is awesome. I'm having a hard time getting out since the princess half, it was so much easier to run all winter having that disney race on the horizon. I'm doing it, but it's not as much fun. Does running have to be a love hate relationship? Love it when it's over, hate it while I'm doing it?

mmm...cooking on the grill. sounds great. it's almost like spring is actually here. oh except for that little thing called the freezing weather! lol! maybe we'd feel more spring-y if we had some good food on the grill. hmm, sounds like you've inspired sunday dinner!

************
i didn't go out for a run today. it was 25 degrees and very windy. when i was training this winter those conditions were an every-run occurrence but now that i'm not training for any races i just don't have the motivation to go out and freeze my butt off. so, i did 45 min on the elliptical that we have in our guest room (aka junk room, shame on me). i have netflix watch instantly on my iphone so i've been watching episodes of this british show called skins. it is SO scandalous and i will NEVER allow my children to watch it. not until they are 30!

feeling a little nauseous today. not bad though. i'm really feeling tired. funny though - i'm awake at the computer, DS is having a snack and DH has been napping for the last TWO HOURS! men!
I grilled steak and chicken, and it was so good. I should say, my brother grilled it, so he stood out in the cold. He will always take over the grill when he's here, I think it's a sexist thing, but I don't mind. :rotfl: I so hear you on getting out in the cold. Nice work on the elliptical. Did you have a lot of morning sickness with ds? Hopefully it won't be too bad for you. I remember the tired feeling in the beginning especially. Rest up, as much as your ds will let you.

All I can say for now..... CONTROL. When there is a LOT in my life that is OUT of my control, I search for control where I can find it... and that is (lately) with my food and exercise. I think if you can find a way to stay IN CONTROL with those things, everything else won't seem so bad.
I think of these words often, when I feel my self getting stressed, and spiralling out of control. We so do have the power to control what we put in our mouths. You inspire me so much, pamela. I do have the power and the control. So glad your dh is doing well.

Ds and I are up, but my brother, sil and neice are still sleeping, so I have to just quietly goof off on the computer and DS is playing his ds. Sil and i are going to walk while ds is at ccd this morning, and then we might hit the mall before the movies.

Have a lovely sunday, losers!!

Good morning! I got in really late last night and have to leave soon for busy day #3, so I will be back this evening for replies! I'm gonna give you guys a super easy one today!

QOTD 3/27/11 Sunday.
Are you going to buy Tangled on DVD on Tuesday? Have you seen it? What Disney movie are you looking forward to if not?

I loved tangled! I almost did the preorder with the lithographs, but never got around to it. I will definitely be buying it asap! I am curious about cars 2, but I really want to know more about this new Pixar movie coming out in 2012. I think it's called Brave. Oh, and Monsters inc 2 of course!

Well I had a really bad day with eating and dont even want to embarass myself by disclosing what I ate. Lets just say it involved no plan and fast food. I had to laugh when I read the QOTD.

Lindsay--remember, you are supposed to be channeling a new princess.:thumbsup2 Don't beat yourself up about the food, just keep moving forward. I know it's hard (I am the queen of beating myself up), but I'm trying to channel the energy into plans and solutions instead of constantly telling myself what I'm doing wrong.

This merge is a lot of fun getting to meet all these new people.
ITA! :goodvibes

:wave2: This smilie has way more energy than I do. I am exhausted.
Sounds like it was a good day! I hope the feet are feeling better today.:goodvibes

Deb--I swear you are Super Mom! I would have gone to a bakery and bought stuff to sell!:rotfl: The pictures were cute! Sounds like it was a great play!

I had a good loss from last week - 3 pounds :cool1: I did go up a tad last week so taht made it easier :lmao:. I did great on my workouts but not great on the food - good enough I guess!

So just know where you usually dine and have a selection made based on the online nutrition info before you go.
Congrats on the loss! Great plan for dealing with fast food!

Kathy--have fun today! The sun is finally out but there is snow covering the roofs! Uggh! At least the sun is FINALLY out. It's been overcast for days. It's going to snow again tonight. The run blew chunks. I won't bore everyone with the details, but I did talk about it on my journal. It was a hard day.

Have a great day everyone! Don't forget to send in your HH points and your WIN numbers! :goodvibes

Pjilla How far are you from Dover? We're heading down Friday night and will be there all weekend. The boys are bowling in the state bowling tournament.

No where near Dover.... sorry. But thanks for thinking of me!

Love the pictures!! We picked out Hunter immediately!! The kids remember meeting him in November.

How funny.... DS's school is doing Willy Wonka!! DS is working the lights.... but they definitely won't have a table full of baked goods from me to sell! I don't bake! You are too good!!!

You have been doing great! I'm especially impressed with the Tae Bo... I picked up a video a few months ago, but I decided I was too uncoordinated to do it!!

QOTD 3/27/11 Sunday.
Are you going to buy Tangled on DVD on Tuesday? Have you seen it? What Disney movie are you looking forward to if not?

Just saw it a few weeks ago at the second run theater. Thought it was cute, but it won't be in my top 10...... DD and I got a chuckle out of the mother/daughter relationship though!!

We need a new copy of Monsters, Inc and new copy of Bug's Life and a new copy of Incredibles..... they are all scratched and don't work well. I guess those are the only ones I am looking forward to buying.

Saw the preview for the new POTC movie yesterday.... we are looking forward to that.

Gotta get dressed for church! TTYL.....................P

Morning Everyone!

I'm excited to report that I've had 2 OP days in a row! Now, if I can continue this...That tends to be my routine. I do well Friday through Sunday and then fall apart on Monday. I'll have to really plan this week out. I have lots of my weeklies left so hopefully that will help.

It's TOM, and for some reason birth control only helps so much. At least I'm not having vertigo.

I better be off. I need to start drinking my water and the car is a mess. I actually had to buy cleaning supplies for it last night.

Have a great, OP day today everyone!

Good morning everyone :) Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. It's been a busy one for me and I only have a few minutes before we start another busy day lol

Yesterday we met some friends for breakfast out and I was a BAD girl lol. I ate two fried eggs, two slices of canadian bacon, a piece of toast and ALL the hashbrowns on my plate :O

but amazingly I'm down two lbs from yesterday morning. that puts me at 224 :D I'm on the downside of the 220's and on my way to the 2teens LOL I'm surprised since it's been a bit stressful this weekend. DD3 decided to wake up at 3 am yesterday and stay up for the rest of the day :O

Hope you are all doing great and feeling great and ready to start a new week tomorrow

Good SUnday morning everyone.

I have been to church and done my grocery shopping. I have to go put the chicken in the crockpot and start up dinner.

I don't have anything planned for today. I hope to get some sewing in and maybe some knitting. I am feeling better than yesterday but not 100%. My throat is still a little sore.

SurferStitch16"Haha YES I work in Red Bank!!!!!!!!! I went to Red Bank Catholic and live in Holdmel. Yay Jersey Shore represent!! (The real Jersey Shore, not MTVs version.) That's crazy!! What a small world!! " What is even funnier is that I teach at Middletown High School South. If you know anyone who went there they probably know Mrs. Coffey. I have been there for 34 years. Yes we are the real Jersey Shore. I have lived down here for 33 years and those people definitely don't represent the people I know. Neither does the "Reall Housewives of NJ"

mommyof2Pirates I have been disappointed with my lack of motivation the last couple of months. I hope the next 8 weeks can change that. I just found out last week that my nephew is getting married next June 1st and a couple of weeks before that my ds2 graduates college. I really want to look good for that time of my life. We are also thinking about going back to DW that summer. Dh told me again last night that he was ready to go back.:banana:

Rose&Mike How is your knee doing after your workout the last couple of days.

lovetoscrap HOw is the laundry going? THat is the next thing that I have to tackle today. Glad that the swim team open house went well. When does dd have her mri on her shoulder?

my3princes I would have done the same thing about baking and helping with hair and makeup. The pictures look adorable. Glad it went well.

poochie Congrats on 48 lbs the old fashioned way. Not enough people try that these days.

DisFam95 Don't be discouraged. It is just meeting everyone new. It will quiet down in a couple of weeks.

mikamah What movie are you going to see?

tggrrstarr I will be buying Tangled but probably not until closer to Easter as an Easter present for the family. We saw it and loved it. It was not just a princess movie but there was enough guy things in it for my ds's to love. We really liked the horse. He had a great personality.

pjlla Ds2 is a major movie buff. He goes about once every week or so. He has not mentioned the new POTC movie. The original POTC movie was the only movie I have seen 5 times in the theater.

cclovesdis congrats on 2 days OP. I have been on team Mickey thread and have read about the trouble you have been having. I wish you a lot of luck over the next couple of weeks.

sparks19 I just love getting up at 3am. It really makes for a long day. I hope you get some time to rest today.

FF we rarely go out for FF any more. I do try to have some frozen hamburgers in the freezer along with some veggie burgers for me. I then serve them with carrots and not french fries I always have a jar of sauce and some pasta in the cabinet so that is my go to meal if it is really late.

I could use some PD sent to ds2. Something came up and it would be great if it could work for him. It would be a major committment for him and for us since he would need to find a place to live for the summer. I don't want to say anything more since I don't want to jinx it.

Well off to get some lunch.

Have a happy and healthy day.

:wave2: I have been on my computer way to long already this morning. :surfweb: Definitely have a case of the lazy today.

I pulled out suitcases today and realized that we probably need to go buy at least one more. :headache: My good one was bought several years ago and is no longer airline compliant. We haven't flown in a long time so I haven't had to worry about it. Definitely don't think we can fit 10 days worth of stuff for 3 females in 2 suitcases!

Have to take DD to a friend's house. I will try to get back on later.

I am not a movie person, and getting worse in my old age. I don't really like to go to the theater at all. I think alot of it is that there is very little that keeps me so engaged in it that I don't want to do anything else. I am usually doing several things while watching TV (none of them productive though!). And there are just very few movies I really want to see. We will probably get it from NetFlix and the kids will watch it and if I may be in the room when they do. Or we may get it from Redbox for them to watch on a road trip.

:cheer2::cheer2: YOU CAN DO IT! :cheer2::cheer2:

(sorry, I totally spaced sending my HH in this week)

That meal it behind you so make the rest of the day extra good. :)
