Hope you folks can give some insight as to my dilema. Here goes:
Last week our Zenith 53" Big screen picture went out. This is 2nd time in less than 2 yrs this has happened. Repairman calls me to tell me some electronic jargin that I dont understand(I work with wood, only thing I know about electricity is how to get jolted by it). Anyway it boils down to roughly $350 to get fixed including pickup and delivery charge. Zenith according to him has to have the motherboard replaced because the parts for what is wrong cant just be replaced.
We can use this TV which is about 6 yrs old for a trade-in. Any thought on another brand of Big screen TV that you have owned with good service. His suggestion is Sony. We dont want to have to purchase a new one but we are weighing out the possibility that we may now have a dud.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
