Big Sale At Disney Store In Vaughan

this is the outlet store at vaughan mills. I happened to stop by for some last minute shopping before we go on Tuesday.

They were just beginning a sale where you buy a Mickey Bag (big black canvas bag) and it was $2 and then any clearance items you can fit in the bag will be HALF off the already sale price. The items had to have red tickets on them.

I got a Disney throw/blanket for $5, a fiberoptic Tinketbell tree topper (for Christmas tree) for $3.99, trading pins for $2, a nightgown for DD for $6, Ariel Mittens for $1, and a tank top for me $4, big fluffy princess pillows for $4........

If you have babies, the deals are amazing - tons of sleepers and toys on sale!

cool, is this only for that location? I could make it to the Hamilton store if it was all stores. Anyone know?

I was there Wed (go figure!) but at least the clearance was an additional 40% off. Bought a Sleeping Beauty 4 pin set for trading at WDW, originally 19.99, was 6.99 plus the extra 40% off. Other than that, did not find much for adults or teens/tweens. Seems to be geared to about 10 and younger, LOts OF stuff for little ones. Oh, there are coffee mugs for $4 but I figure I'll find ones I "must" have when we go.

I just went last night to the Vaughan Miils & got the same deal that DearDaisy got. Buy a Mickey bag for $2 and any clearance item you can fit in it is 50%. I got tshirts for $3.49, Mickey Clubhouse leggings/tights $3.49, a Princess play set w/ pots, plates, bowls, etc.. for $5!
They had a lot more there as well.
Vaughan Mills said that they are the only store doing this promotion.

I've never been to Vaughn mills but was thinking about it. We were at the Disney store in Ottawa yesterday and there wasnt that much. I bought DS 3 t shirts for 20.00 but that was about it.
So its worth going to Vaughan?

I went to Vaughan Mills with my DD this morning. We bought the bag and were able to buy some cute kids clothes for my 4/5 year old nieces. We also stocked up on pins for trading at the parks this summer. They were $2.00 each or a set of four for $3.50.

Worth the drive for us!

I wonder if stock from other stores went to Vaughan Mills for this sale... I say this, since I stopped into Ottawa to buy some baby sleepers this weekend. None to be found whatsoever. The CM I spoke to said they were all "gone".

Did anyone happen to notice if the VM store had fleece sleepers, or just the cotton ones? If fleece, I think it might be worth begging my brother or his wife to make the drive and get some goodies for our littlest guy!!

Sorry - most of the baby sleepers were the cotton ones. I was looking for fleece ones too as shower gifts and none to be found.

i called the Hamilton store to see if they sell pins but they don't. I really hoped to pick some up, oh well. I was there in Jan but found that most little kid stuff and toys. Seems like since Disney took them over, there is less selection of stuff

There were a lot of the $2.00 pins left (either Jesse, Woody or Jack Skellington). Fewer of the four-pin sets (especially after I bought seven of them! )

On another note, is it just me, or does the stock guy (man in his mid 40's) annoy the crap out of you?

I am a pretty patient person, but I walk in there, and he starts barking throughout the store "GET YOUR _____ NOW, THEY WON'T LAST!!!" This is not the Disney way of marketing. They remind me of the game guys at the CNE in the 70's.... Screaming at everyone as they pass. Dude - it's Disney, we know the quality and prices, and will spend the money, chill out.

Ok well I went last night ant there really wasnt much..I did the 2 hour round trip drive and tried to make the most of it but there were like no pins.. only woody and jack, there was NOTHING for my son.. like NO boy stuff at all... I got him a scarf thats it.. I did get some cute things for my DD who is turning one... there is LOTS of HSM stuff, some Hanna, quite a bit of the bambi sleepers and some other baby stuff.. there are lots of dressup shoes (fairies), mcqueen slippers and christmas minnie slippers... thats what I remember most.. that and the bins of mits and scarfs and hats, there were also kids tee shirts and adult ones too (and some sweaters for ladies and men for $5) Hope that helps some.. i dont know if they will put out more stock.. but it was VERY slim pickings last night I have never seen it that low

Sorry you weren't able to find much last night. They could have been busy on Sunday and cleared a lot of their pins ~ I was there before lunch. I did all right in the clothing category too, but I was shopping for little girls so didn't really notice if they had any boys' things.

If you are a Jack fan though you will make out well casue you could get a tee, sweater and a pin for like $10
