I'm still of the mind that not every little thing posted on their FB page (not the clue one, the general one) has to do with the new race. As I predicted, I have seen people referring to other people's guesses as "This was posted on the site, so I think it means..."

I'm just ready for it to be over.

I get what they are doing but I have to agree that it was dragged on too long. A clue a day would have been cool. The clues should also be less vague so we can actually guess with reasonable certainty the race details. These are the kind of clues that seem like they won't tell us anything until we already know the event and that is weak. After just a few good clues we should be able to make some reasonably certain predictions.

+1 to this.

Plus...it might be more fun and engaging if the clues showed any connection or built on each other in a way that is more apparent. As in, by the time we got to clue 3 or 4, we could look back and say, "oh, that's what clue 1 is about." This way, it is very disjointed and the game is not fun. Even dogs in training get little treats once in a while...you have to feel like you're having some degree of success and not straight frustration, or you won't stick with it.

Still don't think it's a tri...for the #s reasons I've mentioned. Also..the tri section on WWOS site is separate from the Run Disney section.

I think I have the dates. April 14 and 15th. If you add 2, 30, 72=104, and if you add 2, 30, 73 you get 105. If you look the Julian calendar 104 and 105 is April 14th and April 15th. In 2012 they are a Saturday and Sunday. Makes perfect sense to me. Just like all the other clues, right? Do you think it is too hot at that time of year? What do you think?

When I read your dates idea, this popped into my head w/ the hottest/coldest clue. I know that they were written over each other, but what if it was also a "date" clue. Kind of like it's at that time of the year where the weather could be hot, but there is also a chance for a cold spell?
Usually it's warm in FL, but in the early months of the year they get cold spells and in CA it's somewhat cold, but CA standards but they get the occasional heat wave?

Other than that, I have absolutely no guess. I'm just hoping the announcement doesn't get dragged out until the very end of April!!

April 14 and 15 is probably right, considering that easter isn't until almost May next year.

Easter is April 8 in 2012. This year, at the 24th is almost the latest it can be. The absolute latest is April 25.

Love it!! The travel channel has a show Bert the Conqueror and he did that on the episode on Sunday. Looked like a lot of fun!

That is the flag of Scotland. The Florida flag is red on white with the state seal in the middle.

Beats me. Other than having a presence at the WS as part of the UK I can't think of anything obviously Scottish at Disney.

We have a race in NYC this weekend called the Scotland Day 10k. Also, April 6 is "Tartan Day".
