Does anyone know when the 5 day WDW ticket expires? Is it 5 days after first use? Or, can you use it for a couple days and then use the rest another time?
In 2025 it expired after 8 days. So with the extra water park days I hope they extend it at least another day or two. 10 would seem good to me, 5 park days and 5 water/sport days to use the whole thing up. But I would expect at least 8 days to use them like last year, hopefully moreDoes anyone know when the 5 day WDW ticket expires? Is it 5 days after first use? Looks like 9 days.In 2025 it expired after 8 days. So with the extra water park days I hope they extend it at least another day or two. But expect at least 8 days to use them
Yeah we can only see it being useful for us if Sunday there was an after hours event we were going to.Hmmm….
Weekday only…. If we fly in on Saturday then how important is going into the parks that Sunday….. what is the extra cost compared to a 6-day Unlocked Magic ticket…. will be interesting to see…. (WDW)

Nice! I hadn't seen they had posted the full terms for the 2026 year yet. Glad they extended the use days at least a little bit!Looks like 9 days.

@cruisehopeful
- WDW Tickets require the Member to choose a start date at purchase and expire nine (9) days from the start date selected at time of purchase.
- WDW Tickets do not have to be used on consecutive dates. After the expiration date, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price.
Yes, not having any after hours events when we got in late March is definitely a bummer from an experience perspective even if it’s nicer on the wallet.Yeah we can only see it being useful for us if Sunday there was an after hours event we were going to.
Fingers crossed! We will see when it goes live on Dec 9!The language around being a US resident as a requirement is no longer in the FAQ. Maybe this means all DVC-Y members are now eligible to purchase MMB.

So, hate to be the curmudgeon, but...
I still hate this program and will not be purchasing it this year either. To me, it is an erosion of benefits that we used to get for free. Specifically, it's the lounge access. To me, it's a slap in the face to long-time owners. Essentially, DVC is saying "pay up for what you used to have...".
Again, just my opinion. If it works for you, great, but know that there are a bunch of us out here that really don't appreciate this aspect of the program...

I do understand. I'll still be purchasing.
My Chase card 'used to' get me in Food & Wine concerts with a wrist band you could get morning off. They also 'used to' have the Chase lounge where with your Chase card you could go and relax, charge your phone, enjoy a clean bathroom and get complimentary drinks.
My Amex card 'used to'........ I won't go on but there are a whole host of 'used to's' that I remember that aren't coming back.
This year I used the benefits and got my money's worth for $99.
Next year I will use it again. I'll need tickets and they will be better than what I can get without MMB.
I'm a long time owner - bought in 2000.
I wish things could stay the same. But there are a lot of things I don't want to stay the same.
Anything that is free will probably eventually change. Not just at Disney.
For International Members:
Interesting change in language with a newly updated MEADS document, effective September 30th:
- Previously, the terms for Membership Magic Beyond said "Only the record owners of an Ownership Interest currently eligible for Membership Extras, who are age 18 years or older and are U.S. residents, qualify for the Optional Benefit Program."
- Now the new document states: "Only the record owners of an Ownership Interest currently eligible for Membership Extras, who are age 18 years or older, qualify for the Optional Benefit Program. Other restrictions may apply."
Might be worth a call on December 9th and see if you can now qualify and register as an International Member??
Agree. I hate the lounge access thing because it inconveniences other owners that didn't buy MMB.Yeah I really wish they would take the lounge lightning lane out of it. It's already basically impossible to get a table at the MK lounge unless you queue before it opens as it is because the rest of the day the MMB folks jump ahead of everyone else in line all day long. Earlier this year I was unable to get a table for 2 at EPCOT for the same reason - MMB folks kept jumping ahead of me. The fact that they cut the standard hours, give MMB a lightning lane, plus they get exclusive hours in the afternoon - is too much.
The real story here is the memory maker, OTUP, and waived $95 transaction fee for exchanges. If you do any ONE of those, MMB is a no-brainer. If you do more than one, you're silly for not buying it. The lounge access component weakens the DVC-Y benefit portfolio for everyone who doesn't need MMB, and that is distasteful to me.
