Big River Grille

I'm cursious as to why the Big River Grille and Brew Works doesn't take ADRs. Anyone know the answer to that?

Do you think a party of 2 first week of December will get in on just walking up?

I'm not sure why they don't take ADRs..but We never had a problem getting seated...Lunch or Dinner. I can't even remember a time we had to wait either..

You can't make ADR's here because they are now owned by Disney.

My husband and I go BRG every time we are in the area. I do not think you will have trouble getting in first week of December as long as you do not go at the most popular eating times.

I've never had any trouble there either. It's one of my favorite places to kick back with a brew after a day at the parks.

We've had no problems just walking up either.....

Try and go during 'off' times though....11:30 for lunch or 4:30 for dinner.

It's not a Disney restaurant, so they make their own rules. It's also very small - most tables are outdoors. It's not a hard place to get into - reservations really aren't an issue here.

you can also call the restaurant yourself about a month before you go and get what they call priority seating... I learned this from another thread on the DISboards and we called for our May trip (which we had to cancel 'cuz we ended up not going)
we are eating there in Dec and will be calling again for the priority seating

They are not Disney owned. The burgers are yummy but served with chips not fries which I found a little odd but there you go. We stumbled across it when visiting the Boardwalk and it poured down so we just looked for somewhere to run into. BRG was the nearest place and they gave us a table no problem.

Since they are not Disney owned, is the assumption that you cannot use your KTTWC correct?

I believe they are on the dining plan and you can make ADRs. There are only 4 BRG around 2 in Chattanooga, 1 Nashville and the one at WDW. I haven't checked their menu but BRG is my favorite restaurant here in Chattanooga.

They are on the old priority seating program. You have to call the restaurant directly and they only book 4 months out. Call now about the time to call..I think they will tell you August, but maybe during holiday seasons, they will book now?? I called in May for November and was told to call in July. I ended up calling last week and was able to get our party of 10 on the PS list.

Our group of 16 people arrived at their door at the very moment that Epcot was closing on a Friday night. We walked right in and were seated.

I don't know that I would try this again, but I was certainly happy they were able to take us.

I've never seen the place packed, we walked in during peak season and were seated immediately.

I have had very limited contact with the Grille, but, my wife used the facilities there once and decided that we probably wouldn't eat there as the restrooms weren't clean. That might be a reason.

Having said that, we probably will try it, one day.

We plan on eating there in Sept. on DDP. I was told to make ADR in late July.....
Doesnt anyone have anything to say about the beer??? I like beer!!

Big River Grille is one of our favorites. We love the Blackened Mahi Mahi and the beer isn't too bad either.
