Originally purchased 10 day MYW tickets non expiring in June.2005 and used 5 days of them with absolutely no problems.
On our last visit this past week had horrible experiences with them in MGM.
First off, it took at least 10 minutes to get through the turnstiles. I actually felt sorry for the employees saying each and every time put your two fingers in, try again, now try it upside down..Put fingers in again. etc etc. was so frustrating for them as well as the long lines to get into the park.
We arrived promptly at Studios at 9:00 am.. I arrived at turnstile 9:10 am.
My card did not work..no way no how..
I was told that I had to go to guest relations to obtain a new one. That was a 15 minute wait.
So now it is 9:25 and we had hopes of going on TOT and Rnr before big crowds came in. I had to get whole new card...I expressed my dismay to gentlemen at CR and he very nicely gave me a fast pass for all in my party which was DH, DS,DD and myself. Very nice gesture but it was aggravating and should of not happened.
well two days later, at Studios again, the same thing happened with daughters card. I refused to go back to Guest Relations and a supervisor came over and informed me it was my fault because I must of put my card close to a cell phone and de-magnitized it.
NO WAY!!! My DH had carried cards for past two days and had no cell phone on him.
Anyway, once again I had to get another card for DD. I was livid and told them that the system absolutely stinks. It takes too long to get through gates and all in all the new system failed.
He admitted that their were several kinks in the new finger system and that they were being ironed out.
But at whose expense?? the customers....
So just wondering, anyone else had this problem?
And I really would love to write Disney and let them know how this system is such a terrible one and what my ordeal was...
