I Live in EST and the clock was counting down to 10 am not 1pm. At 10am the clock got to zero then went away. Now there is no clock, but nothing else happened.... weird...!

I talked to a guy at CRO while I was asking for a quote and asked him if he knew what the big news was about. He said there is a press event today announcing the first family to stay in the castle as well as some new attractions that are opening.
Kinda dissapointing seeing as I already know about this info...oh well...still hoping for a suprise

It does sound like to me that this has to do with who stayed in the castle first or something like that. Oh well.

Uh! I think it's more than that. The press event has been going on since Wednesday and they've already announced that information the first two days. If you look on allearsnet you will find the schedule for the press event. Today is the day new announcements are to be made. See the schedule and past two days announcments below.

Did any of you get the page that talks about the sweepstakes? When I opened the WDW ad from my laptop at home at 5:30 this morning I got the countdown clock most everyone else is seeing. When I reopened it at work, I got a different page and one of the items on it was a new sweepstakes. It asked what my dream location was (I selected WDW), who would be there (I picked laughing with Mickey) and what I could be doing (I chose something about swashbuckling). Then I clicked on enter and got a message that said thanks for entering the sweepstakes. This is very similar to the page that first ran when the YOAMD began last fall, and yes, I did enter the sweepstakes then. The thing is, I think there was a message about more than one sweepstakes running during YOAMD, but I read through the sweeps page so fast I didn't really pay a whole lot of attention and now I can't get back into it to find out.

Unfortunately, when I went back into the WDW ad from Yahoo, I made the stupid mistake of saying I wanted to view the page in a faster speed. Now I can't see anything and the ad won't load because I'm required to install an upgrade to Flash, and I'm not allowed to do that (yep, still at work). So now all I get is a blue screen.

Anyone know how to undo this?

My clock just hit 00 again, and dissappeared. Then I went out of the site and in again and the clock started at 11.20 minutes again!!!
This is their idea of some funny sick and twisted joke...
Don't they realize this means a lot to me!!!
(Yes, I am at work doing absolutely nothing, but my boss is looking at this too- so I guess it's OK)
