Big Love premiered last night

I checked NBC's site and they didn't have it on there either but they had other Tracy Morgan skits from Saturday. SNL isn't keen on allowing videos on YouTube so if you do see it on there watch it right away because it will probably get removed quickly.

i think Rhonda may turn out to be Nikki's daughter.

Nikki married young the first time and they have eluded to a daughter from that union.

Maybe it's Rhonda?

The age is right.

Didn't JJ come from Kansas and didn't Rhonda go to Kansas? Hmmm, you may be onto something.

Nooo nooo nevermind. I can't imagine she would have interacted with Rhonda the way she did when she was still around.

I hope not, wasn't Rhonda supposed to be sealed to Roman. That would be Rhonda's grandfather - that's gross.

It looked to me that the girl they showed Nicki talking to in the scenes for next week's show would have been the daughter because she asked Nicki why she left, but who knows? I think the Mormon Church got themselves in an uproar over nothing. I thought the scenes in the temple were kind of boring and did not impact what I think of the church one way or the other. It didn't make sense to me that Barb would care about being excommunicated after being inactive for so long. You would have thought that if she cared, she would have been secretly attending all along.

you may be onto something ... she'd be adopted by someone else, maybe?

although I might be remembering a conversation that took place when Rhonda ran away, where Bill mentioned Rhonda's parents looking for her. I may have that totally mixed up, though. especially with the wide gap between seasons. LOL

I don't think Rhonda is Niki's daughter. She seems a little old. Margene was talking about Niki having the 7 yr itch. So I would think her dd would be maybe 10-12?

They are obviously wanting to keep the thread of underage girls being married to Old Men. This has been evident throughout the series.

Do we have a base age of Nikki?
What's everyone's guestAments?

i think she must be in her early 30s.
If she's 30.. was married and had a child at 15.. then Rhonda could be 15 or 16.. :confused3

Nikki and her Mother have Never wanted Rhonda to marry Roman.

I'm not a writer on the show, I'm just a fan.

Rhonda'smom had an active role in everything that was going on with Rhonda. So, I don't think that to be the case. I thought maybe both situations were referred to in Kansas as that being another possible place for polygamy or a compound.
The situation with JJ seems to me like Nikki was sealed to him then raped and the product was a little girl. I could see Nikki leaving the girl no matter how hard because she could not live with JJ any more.
I did not really care for this week's episode. Though it did provide a lot of info. I did not like the way they were showing what Bill was thinking against what he was actually doing. I also was not particularly aware of the temple scenes, but at the same time can understand how if it were my religion I would pay more attention. It seemed a little drawn out to me. I am excited about next weeks episode but sad because how long do we have to go this time before another season!?! I would also like to see something happen between Barb and her sister, for Barb's benifit...

I really think the girl Nikki will be talking to next week will turn out to be her daughter. I would guess that she was raped and the child is a product of that rape. Then her husband got to keep the daughter as part of her being unsealed. Did anyone else notice Nikki's reaction when Bill said he wanted to be unsealed? She told him that he could not keep her away from her children. This is what leads me to believe that she previously has a child taken from her.

I can't wait to see more of Barb's reaction to being excommunicated. I think this may send her over the deep end. :sad1:

I really do hope Barb's niece is alright. The Green's are crazy people!!:scared1:

Yes, I felt the same way when Nikki told Bill that he could not take the kids away from her. Almost like she could not handle it if it happened again or it could not happen again.

Haha yeah I saw the SNL ski when it was on this weekend too and it was hysterical, they did a really good job.

Ugh I didn't like last nights episode either. I didn't like that Barb was so whiny about being kicked out of the church and I didn't like that she even still cared about it. I didn't like how Bill and Nikki were behaving or Sarah for that matter, but I guess they needed this episode as more of a "set up" to set the stage for the finale. I know that there are already SO many story lines going on and they are all interesting, but I miss story lines with the kids. I thought it was interesting to see how the children were dealing with growing up in a polygamist family, but they seem to have written them out for the most part (other than the small parts with Sarah) and I hope they bring them back in soon. They need more episodes so that they can spend more time on the different story lines, I wish there was more than one left!

I actually liked the temple scenes, and I like the Barb/LDS storyline. It shows that Barb has followed the path of polygamy because her husband had a testimony to do so, but she didn't. In her heart, she is a traditionalist. She is afraid for her celestial future, because although she is practicing polygamy, she still has her Mormon faith. I really think they all do. They just interpret the polygamy aspect differently than the powers that be in the Mormon church. To me, in a way, it is kind of like the Catholic church and homosexuality. Many gay people leave the church and disagree with those teachings, but they still have a fundamental faith and might have concern for their "eternal life" since they conflict with the church. JMHO.

Was Big Love on Last Night???
I missed it.:confused3

It was on and it was good. That is all I will say. :)
