So I was watching a video of someone's haul and she mentioned Big Lots. Big Lots? Ok so off I went with DD12 to see what they have. Wasn't I surprised to find paper, embellishments, glitter glue ($2) and tags AND a personal cutter ($99) and a Cricut Cake ($140).

I got the Halloween paper stock for $5 so I can make the Pink Cricut Halloween Wreath.

Now I just have to get a circle punch for under $10. I just thought I'd pass it along.

Yes! They have deals, you just have to dig. I have found some great deals at Tuesday Morning too.

I know, right?! I only stop in every once in awhile, but I can usually find some pretty great stuff.

Never tried Tuesday Morning. Ours is so disorganized it drives me nuts. And I'm not even close to organized...

That wreath is pretty frickin' adorable! I need to find the tutorial to make those medallion thingies...

I find things at Big Lots on occasion. A few weeks ago I found a pack of paper that had several sheets of Mickey's House, little Mickey's all over and Minnie Mouse. The rest was junk that I will use for scraps and practice, but the Mickey and Minner paper made it worth the couple of dollars it cost.

So DD12 and I tried to work on the Halloween wreath today.:headache: Let's just say she needs practice on her scoring! She kept on cutting the paper instead of scoring it! It's our first time so it was interesting to see her do it. Lots of appreciation to everyone who does this because scoring every 1/2 inch for 12 pieces of 12 inch length paper I was sick and tired of it!

With that said the hardest part was getting the paper into the flower shape and then the circle glued onto the back of the flower - took some work. We're going to do a few wreaths so she can sell them at a craft fair to raise money with her girl scout troop to go to DC. We'll see!

If you try the wreath post a picture!!

I've gotten some great things at Tuesday Morning also. I get their sales flyers by e-mail, so sometimes can plan ahead to go. Last year, they got a big shipment of K & Co. I got several stacks of paper for $2 each I think that had cost $11-12 at regular stores less than a year before as well as a lot of other stuff. I've been trying to watch for another event like that, but haven't seen one. I don't know how often they have scrapbooking deliveries (too far for me to just drive in to check). Mine is a messy store, more like going to a garage sale sometimes. I do find some great bargains there though.

Right now, they have the Slice for $59.99 through tomorrow (11th).

HA Just found a Tuesday Morning in a town nearby! Planning on going soon!!!

I haven't had much luck with Big Lots. The one and only time I went they did have some scrapbooking stuff, but it was mostly junk. Maybe I should try again, but it's in a part of town I don't usually go, so it's hard to justify a trip just to go there.

Big Lots is awesome! I saw the Cricut Cake last time I was in there but knew I wouldn't really use it. Great price, though. You just have to be willing to dig and you can find cool stuff! Tuesday Morning has great stuff, too, and I've gotten Stacks at Marshall's for $7 :thumbsup2

TJ Maxx and Ross have great scrapbook paper, kits, stamps etc. You have to get there soon after they get the shipments and you have to dig!
