Big Lots--value or junk?

Well we just bought a couch, loveseat and recliner, 2 Mowhawk area rugs and a foosball coffee table at Big Lots this week! Thanks for the heads up about their furniture.....we didn't intend on buying but my dh saw the set while we were there and we couldn't pass it up. Our kids are loving the coffee table. The rugs are very nice and seem like they are good quality. We are going back this weekend to get throw pillows and wall art etc. Oh man if only I knew about the 20% off coupon we would have waited 3 days!

also gotta mention real crocs for 10$ there! Can't beat that price! We are a croc family. I got such cute ones for ds2 there a few weeks ago. Dh buys blank dvd's cds there The only thing we have had no luck with are "mouses" they dont seem to last long although it could be my kids and not the mouse itself. We go thru a lot of mice so I hate paying a lot for them.

Go back with your receipt and a coupon and ask for the difference, tell them you'll bring it all back and return it and re-buy it.. It just might work!

Which set did you get??? I have been in there a dozen times since Thanksgiving..

I am not sure about rugs.. they seem to be good quality from what I have seen. I actually love big lots. My mother has been furniture at big lots for years.. and we have never had problems with it. It is kind of a hit or a miss with big lots you just got to judge the product that you are looking to buy

We purchased one of the $199 recliners a few years ago. I am pleasantly surprised, it is holding up great!
