Big fan of Trail’s End

Not a fan of having no boat from WL, where we are staying, to Fort Wilderness. Anyone have a feel for when or if that might be restored?

They are running a bus from WL to FW settlement depot. The bus is convenient although not as nice as the boat ride would be. We are speculating that the resort boat might return when Hoop Dee Doo returns. But I haven't heard any credible rumors yet.

To add more info, It's the yellow bus and runs frequently.
Sadly I won't be back until the buffet returns in it's entirety.

We ate at Trail's End and the food was very good. But we won't be back until the buffet and the boat return.

We go specifically for the buffet. When friends and family come to visit we used to like to drive over and enjoy the buffet. Sadly, no longer an option.

On our trip in November, staying at Polynesian, we took the boat from Magic Kingdom to Ft Wilderness to have lunch at P&J's take out and rented bikes that we peddled all over the campground. A very nice afternoon! Then took the boat back to MK, then boat to Polynesian. Also on that trip we used a similar method - either boats or combination of boat and monorail to get over to WL and Contemporary for dinners. It just takes a little longer.
