Big Brother Spoiler Thread

Caleb and Frankie convinced Cody that keeping Donny is to their benefit. Even though Derrick said he would go along with this (and keep Team America together for one more week) it looks as he will not keep his word. He is planning on voting out Donny.

Now I know everyone thinks Derrick is this great player that played everyone. But in this instance he is taking his ball and going home. This to be makes him a floater, no longer the puppet master. Since I have the ability to read what is going on my opinion of him has gone down significantly!

Oh well. We will see if he changes by voting time and when they find out the mission was a bust.

Julie Chen will ask a question with the answer being Apple Pie and if the answer is no they failed. Maybe Derrick will realize that America will be against him.

I'm curious as to what you've read that has made your opinion of Derrick go down so much? I I watch some BBAD every night and read Jokers and haven't seen anything. I also think it's smart of Derrick to want Donny out. He knows that he basically has no shot of not being nominated and most likely with Cody if Donny ever won HOH and at least with Nicole he has a decent shot. Why shouldn't he vote Donny out?

For the poster who asked, Team America did not win the challenge.

Derrick lied to Donny in his goodbye message. He did not try his best to swing the votes. He was the one against keeping Donny.

And, Julie told Donny that CBS wanted to offer him a chance to be on one of their soap operas!

Christine is freaky, but her husband is much worse.

That is not the definition of a floater.

The typical Floater social strategy includes joining no alliances or joining many but having true loyalty to none. The Floaters goal is to stay out of the way as be seen as a non-threat while the Leaders and the Gamers take themselves out of the game. The typical competitive strategy choice for Floaters are selective or passive. House Guests who have employed this strategy include Jun Song (Season 4), Kathy Hillis (Season 12), Adam Poch (Season 13), and Andy Herren (Season 15). (Copied from another site).

Derrick has a few final two's - check off.
Stay out of the way and be seen as a non-threat - check off.
Let the leaders/games take themselves out - check off.

I don't see him as a typical floater either, but again, I don't see him as I did in the first 2/3rds of the game.

I am routing for Caleb now. We all get our opinions and in my opinion he is a floater, not in yours and that is okay with me. I respect your opinion.

Derrick is no longer trying to win HOH but is going for the money now.

I hope Frankie/Caleb gets a chance to tell Donny that Derrick did not try to keep him but 100% the opposite.

Christine is freaky, but her husband is much worse.

In the family interviews tonight, Christine's mother was not happy with her sleazy daughter at all, and Cody's father thought his son was leading her on. I hope these two idiots get backdoored before they know what hits them!

Derrick is not a floater. As much as I dislike him, he's been controlling the game for a long time. He's been masterminding all the moves without even being revealed as the mastermind. Total opposite of a floater.

Do we know who HOH is?

I respect your opinion but stated the reasoning for mine. I would have agreed with you up until the last few weeks.

As of now, Caleb is winning, Derrick is trying for the money, and in order: Christine/Frankie tie, Nicole, and Victoria is last. They are about 3/4 done.

Update: Looks as though Derrick will get the money before someone finishes. They are not showing Caleb's Snowman thus saying Christine is in the lead but Caleb keeps saying he will get this.. Keeps pep talking and posters at Joker's believe he is in the lead.

Derrick has the $5000.00 and the 5000 Hollas ready to take but it waiting for production to tell him the rules. I am confused about this.

He finally grabs the ball when Caleb states you better grab that before I win HOH. He does and offers to be a Have Not.

Morty's stating that Christine/Caleb are tied. Jokers can not see Caleb's bowl.

So Nicole is out...I doubt he would ever put up Frankie or Derrick.

He really dislikes Christine so it could be close and may be her. She also did better than Nicole. (good job for Nicole to show she is weak - well not but during the last few comps).

True, I just don't think he is going to put any of the guys up. It will probably be Christine and Nicole on the block and if someone wins POV then Victoria will go up. This season has been really predictable.

Yes it has. Maybe just maybe, Caleb and Frankie can work together to make a big move.

I know that Caleb was stalkerish towards Amber but he really dislikes the way that Christine is with Cody. I don't think it is jealousy, I really think he had respect for marriage. He does know the Bible and claims to go to church. So maybe going after an unmarried woman is okay to him but married woman should honor their man. (hehe)

I'll agree to disagree with you about Derrick because I don't see him as a floater either, but even if he is one, what is so bad about being a floater that you'd root against someone for playing that way? For some people, that is the only way they are going to make it to the end. Jun and Andy were never going to make it to the end on comp wins and neither had a ton of social influence, so they had to play a floater's game and they both won. I'm not really a fan of either of them, but they deserved their wins. Both played with what they had and knew who they were and what strategy they'd have to employ to make the end and have a shot at winning.

Nothing wrong with being a floater. Andy last season was a floater and won. Now I didn't like Andy but that is a whole different beast.

I just lost respect for Derrick. I understand it is a game. But as everyone has someone they want to win, I have jumped off the Derrick ship and onto Caleb's. I really think he is going to pick it up and prove to be a competitor.

Same for Frankie. Many love him and others call him Fackie. I am sure even Victoria have people routing for her.

In the end only one can win. Some will be happy others not. Just a game and just my opinion of it.

My favorite was Donny, but since he's out now, the one I'm rooting for now is Caleb. There's at least one personality characteristic or trait in each of the other houseguests that I can't stand.

Frankie - brags about his sister incessantly and constantly chatters;
Christine - very annoying, constant giggling and clinging to Cody. She is still a married woman;
Cody - constantly letting Christine cling to him;
Derrick - arrogant and every other word is a 4 -letter word;
Victoria - total non-winning floater, but she's non-offensive;
Nicole - whiny voice that shatters even broken glass

I want Caleb to win but if he doesn't have the balls to get rid of someone other than Victoria/Nicole, he really doesn't deserve to win.

No, a floater is someone who does nothing and has no game play or strategy. You certainly can't say that about Derrick. He has manipulated many of the votes to his advantage and stayed has worked with his alliance to make sure the person they want out is voted out. And he has been able to do all this without making himself a target. I think he has played one of the best games ever.
