Big Brother Spoiler Thread

I don't hate Ariana Grande, but I don't like Frankie and his arrogance and name-dropping are completely out of all proportion with how famous she is or isn't. He lives in a bubble where all he sees are Ari fans and that surely makes him think the entire world loves and looks up to his sister. The truth is to most people she is an up-and-coming who has not passed the test of time yet like Mariah and Whitney or any other legendary diva Frankie imagines she is comparable to.

Well Said!
I don't hate her either. Never heard of her before the show. I asked my sons girlfriend, she is 22 about her and she knew who was immediately.

My 8 year old was watching Sam and Cat on YTV yesterday and I paid attention to the title sequence, and Arianna Grande was an squeaky Nickeloden kid actress, before her pop career, she plays Cat.

I can't understand all the hate for Ariana Grande on this thread. Why WOULDN'T anyone who listens to top 40 radio know who she is? Is all Top 40 considered "teeny-bopper music?" Looking at the current Billboard charts- she has THREE of the top 20 songs right now. "Problem" was a number 1 hit before Frankie even went in the house, which is why he's mentioned it. I buy that Caleb doesn't know who she is, because he probably only listens to country music. :rotfl:

DS15 and I are both fans of Ariana. I do listen to to top 40 radio, but we were fans of her before she had popular songs on the radio.

Are any of you moms that have watched the nick show "Victorious"? She did a lot of singing on that show, and she is truly talented with an amazing voice and a 4-octave range. Her songs on the radio are popular, but they really do not show off her voice at all.

Neither of us are fans of Frankie. He is just not very likable...

I will be extremely(sp?) surprised if Zach gets nominated, I mean I hope so, and it would stir things up a little, but don't know if they will or not. :happytv:
I can't wait to see all that Zingbot has to say. It seems everyone in the house is uncomfortable with the Christine/Cody thing.;)

Watching BBAD last night, it's pretty much a guarantee that Zach is going to be nominated and sent home. The reasons are that they think he is a saboteur and that he has wronged everyone in the house. It's so funny to see Frankie and Derrick say Zack has lied and gone behind peoples backs..um HELLO?? you've done the same thing. Grrrrr I want Derrick gone so bad!!

Why Derrick? On pure game play, there has been nobody better in this group.

I'd like to know this too please :goodvibes

I PM the other poster. It was very vulgar, not Dis appropriate. He really said vile things about Zach in a homosexual manner. Totally lost all respect for him. It was that bad.

BUT, and the more I think about this I am wondering what the heck is going on. They told Zach he is going up and out. That is totally against Big Brother rules and once up they should be telling Frankie he broke the rules, that Zach has to come off the block and needs to be replaced. He should also get a penalty. This year is so strange. In the beginning, you hear Devin telling others he was told by the DR that he could not tell anyone and that is the rules, it was not his game play. Then Frankie said these horrible things. Either he is getting away with not following the rules or there is a very quiet backdoor or Cody or Derrick.

What rule is it breaking? They have told others that they are going up. They told Amber, they told Nicole. It is a sign of respect so that it's not a surprise. I see nothing wrong with it. It's been done in other seasons too.

Who would you like to see win?

Donnie. He's won competitions when needed and has been friends with everyone in the house. Sure, he hasn't masterminded any plans yet, but he hasn't really had a chance. I'd be really interested to see him as HOH now. He seems to be getting annoyed as he realizes people are against him ie Christine not helping him in the bob competition.

I love Derrick, I want him or Donny to win. Can't stand Zach though, so I am Ok with him leaving. LOL

He's a good choice. He has played a different game than Derrick and has mostly been on his own yet managed to get this far. He hasn't floated by like Victoria and has got further than many would have thought.

It is against the rules to tell them they are going up and being voted out. The others were just told they were going up.

In Season 14 Ian was told you can not tell your nom prior to POV. Season 12 they did take down a nom for that reason. So if Frankie tells a person he is putting him/her up that nom can be nullified according to the existing game rules.

Also was enforced in I think Season 4.

I don't know, there's just something about him I can not stand. I haven't liked him from day one.

Zingbot ZINGED him on his "un"attractiveness. He said he must look like quasimodo.... :(

.
Good thing Victoria was there to convince him that he was wonderful...:goodvibes

On the Ariana Grande thing, I legit didn't know who she was before BB. Seems she has the makings Of a good career, however I "hate" on her when her brother compares her to Mariah and Whitney who combined have half a century of fame.

As for the telling a nom they are going up thing, every year it is brought up by fans of a player when they are going home as a Hail Mary to save them. This is when I again remind people this show is just that, a show. Do not consider it a competition as the results are heavily influenced by production. Production picks and chooses when they enforce certain rules. If they enforced this one the entire Skittles choosing would have been moot as all 4 noms knew they were going up prior to the ceremony.

Ok, so they didn't tell Zach he is going home, he is assuming he is. The POV has already happened so no rules are being broken there..

I didn't bring it up as a fan as I don't like either Frankie or Zach. Both can go home in my book. My problem is that it is scripted and the rules only apply when production wants them to. Now Zach is up as a replacement, I guess the show will see how much backlash is created and decide to apply the rule or not.

My problem is that it is a rule. If they don't apply them, why not just eat if you are a have-not. Physically threaten someone - who cares. I think the game and yes I know it is a game would be better TV if they did follow the rules. That's all.

The rule if anyone wants to know is that the person with the POV is not allowed to tell the person they are putting up BEFORE the POV meeting. Frankie told Zach last night that he was putting him up as the replacement. And yes he did say it, not just hint.

As for the question asked I would like to see either Derrick or Donny win. Both for different reasons and if it came down to them in the final two, I do not think I could make a choice. I would ask production to split the money evenly... lol!! (breaking the rules and all that jazz)
