During the U.S. edition of "Big Brother 4" in 2003, contestant Scott Weintraub was expelled following a violent outburst in which he threw furniture. After holding a knife to another contestant's throat, houseguest Justin Sebik was removed during the U.S. edition of "Big Brother 2" in 2001.
Actually, the knife to the throat wasn't as bad as it sounds. If I recall correctly, the guy was kinda flirting with some girl and jokingly put it to her throat. Well, after saying that, it does sound pretty bad. But anyway, she didn't seem to mind. She was laughing and took it as a joke.
The other hg from BB4 that was expelled for throwing furniture, I do not recall at all. Could someone refresh my memory on this one? What caused the outburst?
Eric and Jessica had an inside joke about Zach. Eric often compares Zach to Lenny from the John Steinbeck novella "Of Mice and Men". Here is a little synopsis from wikipedia:
The name for the book is an ironic literary allusion to the problems of the main characters, at the same time making reference to an episode in the story in which one physically powerful but developmentally disabled character accidentally kills a mouse while trying to pet it, foreshadowing a manslaughter which will later happen in the same way.
So, basically Eric is mocking Zach, but Zach caught Eric doing it one day and when Zach questioned him about it, Eric made up something about it being him petting a cat. Zach has now taken to petting the cat. He does it all the time now. So, they always dare each other to do things during the live show. I imagine that is why Eric was doing that.
