WOW! Can't believe we missed it and Tivo failed us!!! Usually it is really pretty good with this stuff. Thanks - I have changed my recording options. Now, can somebody tell me who else besides Holly was nominated - any other highlights that I missed? Sounds like Marvin is really being duped by these guys...just as I suspected. Ugh!!!

Good thing I found this board so I can get my info!!! Anybody know if Amazing Race was new also???

amazing Race on Saturday was a re-run...but I loved watching Alison and Donny fight. heheheh

Since it's no secret - Marvin nominated Holly and Lori. The POV has already been done (but will not be shown on TV until Tuesday night) highlight the below if you want to know:

Totally against my better judgement, I signed up for the Live Feed. What was I thinking (as I sit here watching it while I'm typing).

Is Holly the dumbest person ever? I thought maybe that was just what the show was portraying, but she really is that dumb.

I almost hate knowing the outcome of POV. Well not really.

I signed up for the live feed, and I swear to you that Holly, Jase, and Scott had a very long conversation yesterday about how hard it is to be so good looking, and how it so hard to get people to take them seriously because they are so hot. Holly was actually convinced she wouldn't have half her troubles if she were brunette. These people are really something else!

I also read about Scott talking about his...uhh...you-know-what...and, from what I read and what we all saw :cough: PD :cough: he's multiplying about 47 times.

IMO - they really aren't all that good looking. Holly looks fake, Scott's ego is about 4 feet in front of him (his face really isn't that handsome either) and Jase looks like a toilet brush. They really do nothing for me. (Drew is a cutie in a 'college kid' way...I like his look better personally.)

I think I'm going to start rooting for Will...I want a gay guy to win this! heheh

Yeah, definitely Scott has very little (and I do mean little!) to recommend him. I wonder, do you think this show tends to attract players who have lots of spare time and big egos? I mean, think about it, you have to be willing and able to take 3 months out of your life and live in a fishbowl, with cameras recording every time you pick your nose. What sorts of people are going to go for that? That's why their "vocations" are listed as "recent college grad" (unemployed), "actress" (camera hog), "volunteer firman" ( I actually was one, back before the kids, and I recall not getting paid...is this ALL Jase does with his time?). And so forth. I mean, how many of us, even at a chance to win $500,000, would be able to walk away from our jobs and families?

That said, I find the whole lot of them pretty dull, on average.

Also, I'm willing to bet there's several sets of twins playing. CBS wouldn't put all of their money on a twist with just one set, knowing they could get voted out the first week. I think they revealed Adria because she's flying under the radar and likely to stay a while. I'd also be willing to bet, in the diary room, they quiz the people failry well, as to who they would consider getting rid of.

oh most definetly. I think it was BB3 (when lisa won) the guy she was cuddling with - Eric? - was from my state. He was featured on the news often because his job was in jeopardy (he was a full time/paid firefighter) because he was taking too much vacation time.

but he fought it saying he took unpaid leave/etc...

hell - we don't even get 3 months off here at my job when you have a kid!

stinkerbelle, I remember that one--I grew up in Groton, so I knew the firehouse in question. I thought he was a real idiot to jeopardize his job like that. but it does go along with my thought that you have to be willing to risk your job to play the game, and most "adults", if you will, aren't willing to do that. So you're stuck with guys that will pose for Playgirl and girls who can't count past 10 with their shoes on.
