Big Brother 15

From what I was reading, a lot of the Rachel/Elissa fans were voting thinking they voted for MVP and not for the 3rd nominee on the block:rotfl:

I think America really got confused on the question as I did. I told my hubby that. Though, the questions confuse me at times anyway so that doesn't surprise me about myself.

GM reminds me of a Cheri O'Teri character from Saturday Night Live. :rotfl:

OMG, ME TOO!!!! Sunday night I turned to DH and said to him, "my gawd, GM reminds me of Cheri O'Teri"!!!!!! It was when she was in the DR and talking about (I think) not having to be a 'have not'.

GM's stomach looked sooooo freaking bloated after all that froyo.

And yes, T, geeeez, GM looked totally perverted during that comp.

I thought that montage they did of her screwing up every bit of the English language was hysterical. What a moron. :headache:

Yeah I'm not sure what happened there. Having said that, they've had the POV ceremony and GM went up in Elissa's place, so that seems about right lol. As of right now, it sounds like Kaitlynn will be heading out the door on Thursday. Although I can't stand Aaryn and think she's a horrible disgusting person, I think it would be much better to get Kaitlynn out first. She seems like the bigger threat, has won a couple comp's and has come close to others and she doesn't seem nearly as dumb as Aaryn, so I think she'd have a decent chance at going pretty far, and obviously GM is just a joke and would be such a waste of an HOH.

I'm sure you guys are right. They've all taken advantage of the HOH room this season. But A&M so far were the only ones who went "Bow Chicka Bow Wow" in the bed while the current HOH was on lock down. I hope Judd burned those sheets.

Amanda or Macrae won the HOH bed for the time Judd was in confinement in the comp

Hmm have you read the post on jokers by a CBS "insider" that says Amanda has been a friend of Allison Grodner (BB Producer) for years and is the pre-determined winner this year? Do you buy it, or think it's a misdirection to confuse the viewers? Poster says she has evidence and will be posting that the day before the finale... :confused3

I dunno, but I'll be watching Amanda extra close now for any "cheating"

I read this and would not be surprised if it were not true. This afternoon Amanda was talking about her jobs and one was working in reality TV.

Why does Judd have to go to Production to get medicine?

Prescription meds have to be given out in the diary room. No way would they let them keep them in the house.

Kaitlyn is so stupid, Elissa told her the vote was turning and people were saying that she had an alliance with Howard and Spencer. Kaitlyn got snippy with her and said everyone was Elissa's minions and did what she said. Elissa said that was not true, no one listens to her.

Aaryn heard this and went to Amanda and Mcrae freaking out thinking Kaitlyn would change the votes to getting Aaryn getting kicked out.

Kaitlyn confronted Andy and Andy played dumb. Kaitlyn instead of believing Elissa told GM and Aaryn what was said. When Kaitlyn walks out the door she will realize that Elissa was trying to give her a heads up.

I don't buy it. I think there are strict regulations regarding shows with cash prizes.

Big Brother and many other reality shows are entertainment shows. They are not game shows regulated by the FCC.

I think it has been apparent for years that the show is manipulated, but I don't think the producers always get what they want. For example, Helen allegedly said on the feeds that the diary room did not want her to nominate Howard last week. Last year, Shane said the diary room didn't want him to nominate Frank, but then he did anyway. They can suggest, but they don't control. Given that, I don't believe there is a "predetermined winner". Rather, I believe there are "production favorites" that they try to help via twists and diary room pressure. IF she is a friend of the producer's, she was probably just cast to create drama and be a big personality. I don't think it is anything more than that.

So the plan is to get Kaitlyn out? Not Aaryn? I want to see Aaryn go so badly I'd pay money. I know it's smart to try to keep her till then end since she probably would be easy to win against and my head is trying to convince my head of that. So far it's not working.

Everyone wants to sit next to Aaryn in the end. That's the closest thing to a guaranteed win that has ever existed or will ever exist in reality tv history.

I know you're right. I just hope Aaryn knows too.

Unfortunately, the FCC rules only apply to game shows, not reality type contest shows. This came up several times on Survivor, American Idol and even on Big Brother earlier seasons. The FCC allows the network based "contest shows" to run based on their own criteria, which includes whatever "outcome" they desire. It sucks but sometimes it quite obvious. :badpc:

This is stated extremely well and makes tons of sense to me after reading all the hub-bub yesterday. I just wish they had picked someone I liked to win. If it came down to Aaryn vs. Amanda I would hope the house would give up their stipend rather than give either one the money.

As for the comment on Judd's medication right before he went for it Amanda stated he was pacing and paranoid (well more than BB normal) and his eyes were dilated. This was BEFORE THE medication. Scary to me. Not sure if I read it here or on the spoiler page - Is everyone on something now a days?

I'm not but it is on my bucket list.

Sorry I almost repeated your entire point, just reading this. In total agreement.

Like with any marketing entity, they look at the trends and the polls and see what drives the "eyeballs" to the screen. They have their faves and surround them with what is known as "cannon fodder" (David, Nick etc), get rid of them early and leave those that cause chaos and interest in the house. The last thing they want is a bunch of people who are like watching grass grow. If there IS no interesting things happening.. they MAKE things happen. It's not scripted per se, it's directed.

Man, I hate this business I'm in.... :happytv:

I stated the same thing like 5 posts prior, are you trying to say I stated it very poorly?

edit: thank you Robinrs. I saw your post after I posted.
