big bang theory

Not wanting to be a nerd, but it is "Rock, paper, scissors, LIZARD, Spock"! (Bazinga!)

Crud! That's what I meant. Shouldn't try and type while talking to teenagers about their day!

I am just getting into this show. I was hesitant since I missed so many episodes, but you can just jump in. I liked when Sheldon yelled at the restaurant guests for clapping when he broke the plates. I, and my fellow servers, really hate it when people do that!:rotfl2:

OK, I know DH and I are geeks. We even love the end credit comments at the end of all Chuck Lorre shows.:happytv:

Some of them are really fun. We pause...backup...play....repeat....repeat again, until it is on the screen to read. This process seriously takes up to 5 minutes, esp when the batteries are slow in the remote

This show is an absolute riot. What scares me is I understand these guys... :scared1:

My mother has taken to doing the *knock knock knock* *name* thing to her coworkers. Like yesterday, one lady went into an exam room so she could spend her lunch break alone...so Mum went to the door; *knock knock knock* "Cora" *knock knock knock* "Cora" etc...and wouldn't stop until Cora actually opened the door :teeth:

I am so tempted to do that at my office but I don't think anyone here would get it and would probably think I'm crazy, as I work in a law office. :rotfl:

I have been walking around all day with "Bazinga!" going through my head and I have to sort of stop myself from hiding behind a door and jumping out and yelling it just to see if someone would get it! :rotfl:

I have to say that when I first started watching this show when it started I was skeptical but I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

do you FB/twitter? you can do it there :thumbsup2 (I did ;) )

I think we'll keep this episode on tivo for awhile just to watch that ballpit scene over and over. :rotfl:
I did the same thing. I had to keep it!

One of my favorite moments is when Sheldon has gone home to Texas and they guys go get him. They walk up to the house and Howard is dressed ridiculously in a bright yellow shirt with red turtleneck and a kids cowboy hat. Leonard asks why is he dressed like that and Howard says he wants to fit in. And Raj repsonds with "To what Toy Story" :lmao::rotfl::lmao:

Just cracks me up just thinking about it.

:rotfl2:

My DS called on his way home from work and I amswered "Bazinga!"

He was hysterical!

Love this show!

This show amuses me b/c DH has a very geeky background, and I, while NOwhere near as pretty as Penny, was a bubbly blonde non-geek when DH and I met. And while DH has pulled away from the geekdom (no time with a family!), his single friends remain, and it all just makes us giggle. It's not timely at all anymore, but I wish the show had been around when Dungeons and Dragons was released...DH took me with all of his buddies to see it, everyone in that theater was SO excited, and almost everyone was near tears at the end, it was so so so so BAD. I wish they could address that movie's horridness on the show. :)

DH still apologizes for making me see that.

One of the best moments for me was when Sheldon goes to the Ren fair dressed as Spock. I also looooved the Wil Wheaton episode!

I never watched The Next Generation, but I was aware of WW. And that episode made me google him, which caused me to find his blogs. And from one of his blogs, we now say "well, as Wil Wheaton suggests we all say, 'in this economy', " and then we say whatever we're going to say. If that makes no sense, go find his blog and find where he says he thinks we're all supposed to preface things with "in this economy". :)

I'm waiting for DH to be home from his work trip to see the recent episode. Sounds like a good one!

DH doesn't watch it and was very wary when he walked in on me singing "soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur..." as I was petting one of our dogs. :rotfl:

Let us not forget Raj and his parents- love it! Will we ever see Brisket Mother? This show has such a strong cast. :thumbsup2

Part of me hopes we never see her--because we can all have our own picture of her in our minds. I always kind of picture the actress who played Fran's mom on the Nanny! :rotfl:

I didn't watch this show in the beginning, but watched it in repeats of Season 1, and just loved it. They are all perfectly cast. Just a half hour of laughs, giggles & chuckles--love it. :rotfl:

I did! My sister was freaking out, she said, "where have I heard her voice before?" It was driving her crazy. I knew right away who she was, but she was begging me not to say anything. I finally had to tell her, she was ready to explode! Yeardley Smith has aged well!

I always think Dharma and Greg when I see her.

And the Big Bang Theory page on Facebook has the ball clip up. I've watched it a bunch of times already tonight. Ba-Zinga!

missed last night episode..... does anyone know if u can watch it online???

Try this website. Right now they only have the Bozeman Reaction up, but I'm sure tonight's will be there soon.

I always catch up on cbs.com

Unfortunately, CBS.com does not show BBT full episodes online. :( They only show highlights.

We have been watching this show since the first episode. At first DH didn't think it was funny, but he has come around. I just love this show!

I loved when Howard sang the 70's song Sweet Bernadette.

I cried at how funny it was. Yet it was catchy too.

I think he was really playing the piano. Any piano players can confirm that?

I am a BBT Fan! Reminds me of the "nerd" gang I used to hang around in High School on the 70's. Just so happens my name is Pennie also, so another reason I love it.;) Oh, and I remember Yeardly being in the first "City Slickers" where she crashed Billy Crystals BD party to tell his freind that "she was Late." (preggars).

My husband is a scientist and one night I asked him which character he most relates to. He did not answer but instead turned the question back around to me asking which character I thought he was most like.

I paused for just a moment and he yelled out in horror:

"You think that I am most like Sheldon!!"

My defense: "Well he is the smartest out of the three."

Needless to say he did not buy that cover-up.

Bazinga!:thumbsup2

As a math major, I find this show so hilarious and so true. Only one time did it annoy me (when they said a decimal, 25.37 for example, as twenty five point thirty seven). Someone should have caught that!!! Otherwise, my absolute favourite show!
