I have a child with autism that has a list of 10 foods he will eat. Mac n cheese being one of them. Last time we went to Biergarten years ago it was a weird Mac n cheese, not your usual disney version. But someone said they changed it. Can anyone confirm?

Can't answer but that wierd mac and cheese is traditional Kaesespaetzele. Germany's version of it and a ferman standard. It's Noodles with REAL cheese grated in and onions.

Maybe some one will answer if they have the kraft version in the kiddie buffett.

Thanks, that's what I remember. My son is actually allergic to onion. The thing is they list that on the menu but also Mac n cheese. So I though maybe they added it.

The mac and cheese seems to be the same throughout Disney and it is not Kraft. My kids love the Kraft stuff, but generally do not like Disney mac and cheese, so we make sure to order something else / get something different at a buffet.

Biergarten is the only restaurant so far that my oldest did not like the mac and cheese. It's definitely not kraft and not of a similar texture or flavor at all. The sauce isn't very smooth, which I think was his main problem with it as he has textural issues. Many other restaurants were much closer to the Kraft style mac and cheese.

My daughter with autism found lots of other foods there she did enjoy, but there isn't really a kid section of the buffet.

I find the disney buffet Mac n cheese to be more of a stouffers style than kraft. Mine won't eat kraft even at home. I guess it's back to garden grill for us. Thanks for all the replies.
